Well this week's episode was all a bit fishy.

I sometimes wonder what the writers of this are on - and where can I get any?

The moral of the story is it's not easy being Schubert.

I didn't think it was possible for the show to make me laugh harder than episode 11 (the chores episode), but I guess it just needed more fish...

I loved how it got increasingly weird, and just when I thought that there's nothing that could top a crab-mech piloted by two fish trying to escape being eaten, they managed to top it anyway, ahahaha.

I'm really warming up to Schubert, he's so silly and pathetic.

The music has been worse then I was hoping but the show also turned out a lot crazier then I was expecting. This episode was not as funny as the fish one but mandarin plant zombies still stand out.

And just when you think this show couldn't get any crazier...

I wonder if this series wasn't partially inspired by the music of Trans-Siberian Orchestra?

Surprise Sakurai Takahiro! "Out of the blue" doesn't even begin to describe this episode, but I like how it (kind of) made sense in the end, heh. Also Tchaiko-chan and Bada-kyun were so cute.

I don't know how many people are still watching this, but this show is awesome and so criminally underrated. The second cour so far is just one great episode after another.

I really liked how Bach was standing there at the end with suck-up girl gushing over his genius and he was just trying to figure out what the fuck happened.

So Schubert finally has enough, puts down some mad beats, and roasts everybody. xD

This was my favorite song by virtue of the fact that they had Maeno Tomoaki rap. Actually, was that him actually doing the rapping? Does the credits mention anything?

Yeah, that was Maeno doing the rapping, the credits confirm it.

Poor Schubert! I liked the previous ep, but this was great too, the roast was hilarious. And then he went a step too far...

(Also, I can't be the only one who had an extra giggle at "my self-consciousness is rising" )

Ah this week's episode...

Beethoven and coffee. I gotta admit, he made me interested in them even though I was never much of a coffee fan. The music at the end gave me a classical nostalgia feel.

Finally a plot breaks out, Involving evil robot us's and the human Bachmentality project...
Will Beethoven's penguin army save the day?

The minute Bach-sama mentioned aliens I knew where this was going. Of course he couldn't be last boss. xD

Excellent ending to a show which took a little while to get going but once it let its freak flag fly went from strength to strength in mad hi-jinks. Great and crazy way to end the series.

But wait... Is that second season announcement for real? That'd better not be a cruel April Fool joke.

It is real.

Official twitter and also when I watched it on CR and live, it showed the end:

Yeah, I saw that on CR too, but given the date... Well, that's just wonderful, as I do love the show.
Certainly, Kanae scrubs up well, and when hasshie turned into giant loudspeaker rocket bird that was glorious. Action shows have had less action-packed finales than this.

Liked the idea of aliens turning up after hearing classical music on the Voyager record.
But what the heck are we going to do when the alien Chuck Berry fans show up, now?

SECOND SEASON!!! Thank you, NHK, I knew I was right to believe in you!

This episode was a hilariously awesome ending to a great little show, packed with everything I loved about it. Classicaloid was one of the two shows that I liked enough to watch real time in this rather dire season, so I'm happy we're going to get more!

(Also finally we saw Bach doing his disco thing once more! I can never get enough of that. <3)

I'm also glad we're getting another season.

And yes we need more disco Bach. xD
