Wow, that was just..intense. Also a brief flashback of her shown. I think she may be part of some experiment? Also, I'm starting to like that Kassim guy more after this episode.

So it looks like Mikumo is some type of experiment. And holy crap, did the ruins cause Hayate and Freyja to overpower out of their control? And Heinz, what are you doing?! Are you mind controlling/VARing your own soldiers now?

Okay Cassim turns out from the same region as Freyja. He recognized Hayate's last name meaning he new Wright. He let the two go, as he doesn't see himself as knight cirrently, but he'll still meet them on the battlefield even he doesn't know if it right or wrong.

Heinz affected the Aeral Knights with his song similar to what happens between Hayate and Freyja with Hayate being overwhelmed. But instead of a sky it is that hole at Scarfell. Helmann is closer to death as a result.

Freyja got sucked in by the system itself in a trance causing Hayate to Var in combat with Keith.

Mikumo singing to the ruins causing a fold reaction. She starts to remember her past. How she was a singer at Windermere and how she was found by Earthers most likely in space. This causes the new ruins on Voldor to overload and blow up. Heinz is shocked to a stupor getting contact with Mikumo's mind.

Bogue is too damn focused on Reina with his usual die Walkure. Gets cock blocked as usual by Hayate.

Roid and Berger are getting a lot of data as the singers clash.

On the Arad and Kaname front they talked about Messer and Hayate.

Actually, it was Cassim who was shown to have his crystallization advance rapidly during Heinz's song, not to mention bleeding from the mouth- and this was right after he had a sympathetic, character-building moment with Freyja and Hayate, where he talked about whether or not he'd survive to see his son again. Guess who's throwing death flags left and right now?

Cassim is doomed. A shame really because this episode really made me like him a whole lot. You can tell he's a good person and he bonded really well with Freyja. Their interactions were top notch. Also, him telling Freyja to go back to Windermere and that he would use his power to give her protection I just....

I...I seriously don't know what to say about the ep. It was intense.

Mikumo! MIKUMO! She finally remembered stuff about her past just by Heinz's singing + rune reaction. She...is an experiment? But what...what is it about her singing in front of the ruins. Is she some kind of experimented Windermere priestess or something, cause of her unusually high fold waves? That Hametsu no Junjou resonance. Wow. Just wow. Not to mention she and Freyja sang the 2nd part.

Cassim crystalizing. Better not be a death flag..
And Heinz's song also breaking the knights except Keith? Keith seemed a bit disturbed by Heinz's singing this time, though. And he was worried.

As for Freyja, woah. Looks like her rune has reached limit break upon realizing her feelings for Hayate. It grows stronger every time? She's using her very amplified rune to send Hayate into Var mode...she's slowly becoming like Heinz. But she isn't used to it...so she seemed possessed. Thank goodness Kaname stopped her though.

That "sukiyo" too.

EDIT: THAT PHRASE Mikumo stuttered out after remembering - it's the same phrase Heinz said a few eps before right???

I don't think she's an experiment. I think she's the original Wind Singer, a Protoculture Wind Singer. But at some point she got lost and these scientists fond her and experimented on her. But I'm pretty sure she already had her crazy powers. That's my take on it for now, at the very least.

It wasn't that she willingly VAR'd Hayate or is becoming like Heinz. She got sucked in by the ruins, basically she couldn't keep up and fell to it's control. And since her and Hayate were gods levels of linked/resonating, Hayate ended up getting the short end of the stick. You have to consider that Hayate is still a normal human, even though he has fold receptors. He's not special or naturally enhanced like Windermere Freyja so he went extreme levels of BTFO.

Hark, is this a song worthy of having originated from Frontier I hear in this weeks ED? Mikumo clearly still is the MVP of Walkure.

I don't think anybody can continue to say that Hayate ain't having some bad feedback from getting powered by Freyja's song.

Gawd, I can't believe this. My mind is turning blank with all the happenings. Maybe Mikumo does have something to do with Macross Zero, and whatever her connection to the Sigur Valens is.

Cassim's death flag is too strong. I knew I doomed him when I said he was my favorite Aerial Knight. Bogue going to attack Reina while his cheeks were flushed made me laugh. Here you go, your Milia 2.0.

At least we'll finally getting Mikumo's development.

It's not that. Freyja was seemly possessed by protoculture ruins (she had dull eyes of mind control) and going overload then Hayate was affected by the backlash because they were in sync. It wasn't something natural of her singing or their relationship, rather something affected her and so Hayate was negatively affected too. Something like that also happened to the Aerial Knights as well with Heinz.

So no, those hoping for this, it doesn't happen at all. It does confirm they are completely fold bonded I suppose, which was what was happening in the last two episodes, showing their sync resonance growing. It's positive when they are themselves, but negative when they are not, or controlled by external things like the ruins.

Oh yeah, is it just me or Mirage sorta disappeared from the episode at some point?

Sorry, but this is the third week in a row where we've seen Hayate feeling negative effects from his sync with Freyja. This time, he got VAR veins and his chest fucking bulged like he'd get a heart attack. Does he need to spurt blood out of his eyes and nose to make it clear?
