Good news and bad news.

The good news is that the series has been confirmed for simulcasting, like its first season. The bad news is that TAN is not doing what they did with IS, meaning after the first two episodes, I'm out of luck.

haha. that's my friend's post of that clip. when we watched it years ago, he was like, "i'm putting it on youtube... its worth it." and if you check his other video, its also worth it because its Haruhi singing God Knows.

What I hated the most (yes, you heard it right "HATE") in S1 is how Kanako always get the short stick just because she acts like who she really is a huge pervert yuri girl. That made me feel like she was punished just because she's lusting after girls...

Apparently the first DVD will include a segment from the first episode which got cut, or so ANN was reporting. Maybe it's related?

The OP that played in its place, though, "Mousou Senshi Miyamae Kanako", is exactly the kind of song I like. Cheesy and superheroic. Plus, it's sung by Tomokazu Sugita.

The first ep was basically the spin out / a thing one of the drama cd's was based off of, chapter from vol 6.

I mean, as far as I can tell nothing was really cut, other then

at the start of the chapter in the manga Kanako is talking to Mariya about the dorm room not being on the map. Which in turns leads to Mariya explaining the story behind the dorm and Kanako saying the old story about meeting under the tree there.

That was cut and replaced with the toast scene. Which I found a lot better then the part they cut. But thats just me so ...

I read the chapter in the manga and A LOT got cut from my point of view.

I thought the ep was fairly good seeing as that chapter is over 50 pages long and takes up most of the vol 6 release of the manga.

Really it was just Kananko going off about something and getting hurt. Nothing major was cut that effected the story. Plus Shaft is putting an extra scene on the DVD release so $5 says that means a new op / ed and added scenes that were cut from the manga.

Although I still prefer season one's OP, I have to say this old school OP sung by Sugita was freaking awesome.

As for the episode itself, it was typical Maria Holic. For better or worse. Matsurika is godly, yes or yes?
