Man, I would love to see Hero teleport to DQ's side and fight a losing battle with the past demon lords =03. Anyway, that's an interesting angle to set up. Although a battle with Hero vs DQ was never on anyone's minds after the 1st chapter, the fact that DQ can be changed psychologically by this room opens the door to an inevitable battle that will come. Will it be like Superior in this regard I wonder? Could the Hero fight an evil DQ if HM can't stop her?

No way, he'd just show up like a boss, ask the simple question of what in the hell are they doing to his "useless meat"?!

I wonder how the Church is going to react, declare a crusade ? try to negotiate ?, bribe some demons to weaken the opposition ?

I get the feeling that the worst one that was mentioned in this chapter but passed over will come to pass where they will try to ally with demons.

Just read the latest, and damn I love this manga. DQ has to put up with some pretty nasty stuff, though this does provide a pretty good explanation on why evil warlords always look so...evil.

Great meeting blending both that light-hearted feeling with a deep sense of seriousness. Got a feeling comparable to that of Spice and Wolf radiating from it.

I'm still quite interested how she inherited her position as the Maou, but I suppose that's a tale for another time.

There was a hint dropped about the possibility of an alliance between the conservative Demon forces and Central. If we examine the goals of Central, their goals are to maintain their current institution and power. On the flip side, the conservative demon forces goals are still ambiguous in the end. It might be possible for some secret dealings, but I would figure having the Southern Kingdom and Central be engaged in an actual civil war would be the best route to take from the conservative Demon's perspective.

I'm pretty sure they do. I think it's Hero, Head Maid, Sisters Maid, Female Knight, Merchant, and maybe Winter King and Old Butler/Archer. I'm pretty sure the three students, Young Noble, Young Merchant, Young Soldier? don't know though.

Both sisters aren't in on the secret. The only other people aware of it are the Lady Knight and the Young Merchant, and as far as the latter is concerned she's merely a demon.

DQ lays a smack down on her. While that's going on the FM goes and gets the Hero and they finally arrive and he's able to turn her back to her old self. I sort of liked that version since she was trying to bait Hero with her body... Spoiler for NSFW, just to be safe:
