That's true, but given how popular this series was, I'm surprised they didn't do a reboot of S2 / tweak it to continue from S1 again. This series was so damn good and had so much potential.

Even something like FMA:Brotherhood would be cool where we could say that S2 was a different angle from the "True ending"

The rest is still a matter of waiting for whatever they've got planned.

And they never ended X, it's better tell Clamp ended manga X but they decided not show the ending to the public for the fear about retaliation.

I'm just posting it because of how I found similar both arts are if you take a closer look. I just feel like Akito The Exiled is going to be another X just like LOTR. In fact Code Geass is supposedly the true spiritual successor of X/1999.

-HJ's portion of OZ ended last month, nothing will appear this month, but in August they'll start OZ's second season!
-Comp Ace Oz ends this month, unknown if there'll be a sequel in manga form

OVA 3 will be announced together with the new OZ season in August?

yeah not sure if I can be that patient...i've been patient for too long now.

I just look at it this way:

If they had kept their previous schedule, in practice, then 3 would be late 2014 and 4 would be late 2015.

Neither would be out at this point. That might still happen, who knows, or they plan to combine both.

They've already said they want to release 3 and 4 around the same time or in quick succession.

I'd like faster releases, but I don't have a big problem with having one per year or the last two all at once.

It's possible, but there's no way to know for sure until they come out and announce it.

The thing is Akito is not a priority for Sunrise even if it's kinda profitable.

Orange, in charge of CG, had to work on that new shitty Fukuda anime so that explains the delays.

Also 2016 is Code Geass 10th anniversary so Akito must end until 2015 so we get a new anime series in 2016

dang. i didn't know ep 2 was out. gotta love that 3 dimensional mecha fighting. also, that body suit.

anywho, my timeline is a bit off (since i haven't paid attention to CG since akito 1 came out) but is this between the first and second seasons of CG?

addition: the director also did escaflowne. i have full faith that regardless of how long it'll take to come out, the remainder of this series will be amazing.
