Hmm based on people's opinion gsc tenshi dengeki is just failed. I even heard the original plan was to release it with castoffable feature which sound even more terrible. Still i have to wait for her to arrive for final opinion
For kuroyukihime, we got a lot of choices. Nendo from gsc, figma from max fac, pvc for each kotobukiya, max fac and gsc, not to mention some prize figure from sega. If you include black lotus, there will be figma from max fac and mg figure rise from bandai So many choices, but i think i will take gsc after saw some reviews regarding kotobukiya and the one from max fac too expensive Anyway, who did order alter erica hartman ? I heard it was released two days ago and is there anyone who already got her ? As usual, i would like to ask for one/ two words about it

Yes I am.
Yes.... I am. I need to get that moe-fied roach model too. http://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B004TVYBEM/ Of course, so she can be mercilessly obliterated.

Tenshi finally arrived. I expected her last week, but lazy post is lazy I guess. Anyway, since I had the previous version, I can say without a doubt, this one is better. I don't care if some people dislike her face, because the outfit and wings are vastly superior to the old one. |

Looking at that Tenshi picture... I am reminded of one thing that I don't like about these mass produced figurines. Maybe I've been unlucky, but most of the figurines in my collection, I find that in the creases and crevices (such as the dress folds and feather outlines on the Tenshi figure) where they apply a darker shade of colour, they overdo it making it too dark, would be nicer if it were more subtle. Both my GSC Madoka and Madokami figures are guilty of this.
Sometimes I think it would be better if they didn't bother adding the extra shade of colour at all and let the shadows generated by the sculpt do it's thing. But done right and in a subtle way, it can enhance the appearance and beauty of a figurine. |

So this is being released.
http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/det...-9150&page=top That has to be the worst face on a figure I've ever seen. |

Thing is that it's actually based on an illustration that had basically the same artstyle, so it's not like they just randomly went with that look. Still... I too am not sure why they chose that particular illustration and style as the base for a figure given how very different it is from the normative style. Then again, I suppose the fact that it's different from the average will also make it endearing to some, and no doubt some like that style.
In either case, it's not like there aren't enough other figures to buy.
