Actually not much people were happy so I don't know from where you got that information. Seriously, if that Aizen won't be an illusion I'll go barsek. He could cut Hitsugaya down million of times already. Kubo stopp your Hitsu fanboism! We all know how much you love him, no need to show it all the time! Quote:
Hiyori also soon will run around like nothing happened -_- Seriously, Nnoitra had an instant death from cut but Hiyori is lying for god knows how long with only half of body and still is alive -_- Kubo, you really are an idiot in anatomy and human life spam... Have no interest in hearing "But they are not humans but spirits!"

Sure he can develop them. What I'm saying is that the disproportionality is jarring.

Kubo shouldn't have gathered such a huge active supporting cast in the first place...Gote13 is a huge organization that can be sliced in pieces...for example the VCs could just stick to paperwork or looking after the barracks while the captains are away, third and fifth seats can spar in hell for all anyone cares, and out of all the captains, a few should get friggin demoted for their poor performance. That way the cast would be limited to only a handful of supporting characters and Ichigo himself, which would still be quite a lot for a battle manga.

It's not impossible to handle a big cast. I think Naruto has shown that the potential is there (though even at times I find myself going "Who?" when they toss out a character name).
Kubo has way too many characters for him to handle. It's almost like he gets off on creating new characters and then just sort of doesn't know what to do with them once they're there. Most of these new characters don't even have a decent back story to speak of. So because they're painfully 2-dimensional they end up hanging around in the background being useless and cluttering up the storyline.

While NARUTO sports an amazing cast, most of them sink to oblivion, and for a good reason. Actually it has just as big a cast as bleach, if not even bigger considering all the villages, teams and generations, but they contribute so little to the story after their respective pieces are played that they're as good as dead.
Bleach, on the other hand, features characters that never leave the spotlight once introduced, leading to an angry shinigami mob tagging behind Ichigo, and since they're co-starring, they can't be left with no backstory, but the very creation of a background for them means derailing the main plot, leading to a vicious circle of line management...OMG I just realized that bleach is doomed!!! |

well Kubo cant seem to please everyone, if he focus on the popular characters then its certain that his work will be bought, but if he focus on the people that are generally hated then no one is going to buy his work. He could run the risk of cancellation if you displease the fandom for to long. Further more, Kubo know he has marks like me, and others that will buy up whatever he shells out so it will be okay.

Why is everyone suprised "that all the weak fighters are cut down easily" exactly?
To summarize Lisa weak nonetheless that she just came out of battle Soi Fon weak nonetheless that she just came out of battle Love weak nonetheless that he just came out of battle Could it be anymore obvious? who are you kidding.. Hitsugaya weak nonetheless that he just came out of battle but he obviously still has power to put his bankai up which gives him some sort of defence and attack mechanism. Sounds logical to me that he isn't amongst those that shoudn't be fighting in the first place. Hitsugaya ísn't cannon fodder in a basic FFA battle. I don't care for Hitsugaya what so ever but at least his Bankai is worth something. |

A normal Bleach chapter would end after: * Ichigo's still standing . Lisa is down . By the way Aizens shadow is actually Hitsugayas.

Not really..
where does he do that one-hit kill on someone who can actually defend him/herself? I don't see Shinji down, i don't see Shinshui or Unohana down.. i don't even see Hitsugaya down(yet) All we see here is weak people and those who got slapped around all the time. eg komomaru what difference does it make if it's Aizen doing it or Zaraki.. or Shinsui (eg Stark basically) |
