Need help finding anime

I couldnt find a word for the type of anime im looking for so i'll try give an example.
Im looking for an anime where someones hopes get crushed like in few episodes in Detective conan (case closed) someone he know believes that the culprit is innocent and then later he proves them wrong and the friend is crushed couldnt believe it something like that.

This request might be a little weird huh?

I haven't seen Detective Conan, but what comes to mind is Monster. Hard to not spoil and still tell something of the story. Hopes are crushed, people are not what they seem. It is rather long though.

Seconding Monster, ti's really the perfect choice right from th eget-go of the first couple episodes.

Berserk features a prominent theme of betrayal and revenge.

Death Note is also a good bet, and maybe Code Geass as well. They are nothing like Detective Conan, but in each case the protagonist is actively lying to (and sometimes betraying) everyone around themselves.

Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ - The protagonist is brainwashed and forced to throw his humanity and become an assassin in the 1st episode...

Oh, I should mention that Detective Academy Q is rather like Detective Conan. I liked it a lot. And it has my favorite phrase of all time from anime...

Clamp School Detectives, on the other hand, I thought was terrible. Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro was somewhat fun to watch, but also a bit silly, and less focused on detection than demonology.

There are episodes of Hell Girl where people think that people are good but are proved to be horrible.

There is a star baseball player who fatally injures a team mate so he wouldn't wear himself out in a mere inter school competition

Spoiler for Silent Cries:

There is a girl and she goes to the vet with her dog. Unfortunately the dog doesn't survive. She later goes to thank the vet for trying the best he could but finds out that the vet was talking on the phone with a rich client when he should have been operating on the dog. Plus he hates animals.

A girl goes and shows off her sisters new sweet creation to her fathers friend. He then steals the idea and humiliates them on national television.

Spoiler for Bride Doll:

A women who funds an orphanage takes one of the orphans to be her daughter-in-law. She then forces the girl to not do anything except sit quietly and act like a doll. Abusing her if she doesn't. When the women dies she finds out that her son is exactly the same.

Spoiler for The Kind Neighbour:

A man moves to the country and is given advice by his neighbour. After the first year is successful he encourages the man to expand even though that means he doesn't have enough money and gives him weed killer which is just tomato juice. This causes the man to start drinking and he dies from falling down the stairs never realizing he had been betrayed. His daughter figures it out though.

Spoiler for The Light of the Hospital Ward:

Hajime's daughter thinks that Hell Girl is perfectly justified in her actions until she meets this episodes victim. The victim is very nice to everyone and everyone loves her, however she still gets sent to hell by a random druggie. She doesn't know whether what Hell Girl is doing is right after this.
