This reminds me that DEEN really liked turning thoughts from the VN into speech in their anime, which caused such annoying memes like "people die when they are killed". Not to mention how inconsistent they were with Shirou's design.

Ufotable does well to adhere to "show, don't tell", so such annoying things are effectively avoided... but the "official" subs from aniplex are annoying in a different way.

Apparently, the subs in Crunchyroll are being fixed. When I visited, they changed "mister" in Ep 3 into "Onii-chan". Hopefully those fixed ones are the ones they'll use for BD and DVD

Oh and Deen.... If you're gonna voice monologues, at least do it in a consistent manner and voice the whole monologue at least~

for some reason, Ufotable version give feeling of movie version
while DEEN version give feeling of TV version
