That's the fastest way. Should be using shortcuts properly and killing the Herald once for the double gauge buff. The best time was during the latter half of anniversary, where the sephira gauge was doubled; with Herald buff, you got 40% gauge bar. Got a lot of box drops every other fight. But yeah, just do that for a few hours. Don't check the boxes, just grind for 20~30 mins at a time preferably with charge boost book and hopefully 0-button otk team, then see what you dropped via inventory. I believe I heard that the drop rate is supposedly 0.5% between all 4 militis weapons(so 0.125% for a specific drop as there are 4 per zone) so... just gotta grind it out and pray.

You can get better output by using that spot for Halloween Mugen instead to further buff Relic Buster MC using Blitz Raid.
