Speaking of which, while the villains are mostly straightforward bad guys, I'm curious if the pretty Zhou-sensei has ulterior motives, and if he'll get away unscathed in the end. He doesn't seem like he's in it for patriotism and villainy, and he was at least kind enough to activate the riot alarm to save the girl he manipulated from the big bad muscle man before.

And the only reason Tasuya didn't disintegrate him last time was because Lu hadn't threatened his sister. Miyuki's in the audience this time, and the military has given Tatsuya an under-the-table all clear to handle whatever happens. There may not be a "Great Asian Alliance" when this is over.

Just caught up with the latest arc.
I'm not sure what to make of the new villians.
I mean, one's dressed like a cosplay butler and the other looks like a 53 year old tiger-man hybrid dressed like a 15-year old.

Something strange is why Kyouko telling Miyuki to 'you know what to do' when something happens..., While clearly there is Tatsuya in front if her...

BTW whose rank is higher Tatsuya or Kyouko?

His disintegration ability is probably a top military secret. He can't just use it whenever he wants.

In addition, he probably needs to load it on a CAD before he can use it. Though I suppose to could have it saved as a "flash cast"? I'm not sure of the limitations of that, it might be too complicated.

I would suppose there is something that Miyuki can do that Tatsuya can't, due to his ability to use most magics.

Fairly certain Kyouko's rank is be higher. I don't think that Tatsuya's rank is very rank? Though I never paid any attention.

I don't think Zhou saved her out of kindness. More like he was saving a pawn for his own use, I expect.

You think he didn't come here armed?

I was going to add that he also didn't use it against Lu before because it was a military secret, but that ruined the pacing of the comment. Even if he had had leave to use it then, he probably wouldn't have because Lu hadn't upset him. This attack, on the other hand, will place Miyuki at risk, which is the only thing capable of upsetting him. Shit's going to go down.

I will just say that miyuki is the key for something really....fearful(since she looked tatsuya with a face of 'this is going to turn into something really awful')
About the ranks, since tatsuya is currently at school maybe he does not have an 'actual rank' in order to maintain his facade
