But since my room is the only in the house dust-free, nobody can complain a bit xDDDDD And about my friends, they can only look and drool (and also get angry cause they don't have guts to buy xDDD) Quote:

I really wanted that canaan figma but then the GSC one came across my eye and I love figures of anime girls packing heat. The real problem is I'm really trying hard now to stop buying so many figures since I'm running out of space and to save more money even though I don't need to.
If I get the figma it will be less than half the cost and won't take up as much space. And if I go for the GSC canaan it will cost a bit more and I won't have to pay for a few months. Only real downside is I don't like the anime as much as I thought I would so it's not a must have for my collection. I know I better choose soon since both will probably sale out on pre-order. |

^ i've seen worse, my roomate has a 1/6 version with black uniform rop, it is cast off... notsure which company did it, but it was pretty crappy. I wont even want it if it's given to me. IMO Kanu is one of the overated character (toy release wise).

By any chance, does anyone here know how the admission process works for Treasure Festa on 10/12/09? Is there a ticket you need to buy ahead of time or do you just pay at the gate? I can't figure it out from the website. I'll be in Tokyo that week and might try to attend it.
Thanks! |

Well, I folded
after about a year of not collecting figures I just preordered the GSC Saber lily She's just too good to pass up, and would hate myself everytime I'd come across her reading "out of stock"

Here's me contributing what came in the mail today, the package with the little gift from Comiket 76 that I've been looking forward too:
The package has arrived + Toemad cameo. Mystery package from nihongo. Front of box. Back of box. My Nedoroid combination of choice, rate as you will. Elevated shot. Close-up. Rin is no longer the only Nendoroid. The Touhouloid alliance. Thumbmad thumbs up of approval. Her new steed + Secret forums. The snow rabbit. I need a better camera my god.

My almost-deep-fried-as-a-result-but-banished-to-the-laundryroom-for-now cat decapitated one of my anime figures, breaking off the tab that connects her head to the body. He pushed her off her shelf.
Some questions. 1) preferred glue for PVC figures? 2) I'm considering a tiny rod to add strength to the tab-head connection. I don't have a micro-drill though. suggestions? I probably *would* kill the cat but I have no plans to resell this figure.

A heated needle might do the trick as a pin? Heat and carefully insert in to one part, then heat the protruding part and attach next piece. Maybe. Just an idea off the top of my head. Never done such with a PVC figure though it worked okay with old plastic models my uncle used to build, if done very delicately; he'd repaint over the offending scars, though, and that wouldn't be an option for PVC generally, I guess. But if it's attaching two pieces together with no protrusions it might work well. Something to consider, anyhow. |
