Someone a couple pages back referred to her as "the OTP." I have no idea what that means, so I can't say whether or not I agree with it. But they made such a big deal about her in the old timeline, and even put her in the opening title sequence, that I can't imagine them simply letting her vanish without a trace. |

Changing the OP/ED in connection to what is happening in each episode seems to be the in thing nowadays
We now have that scene in the OP where Satoru fell off the roof of the building after being shot or something, I can't wait to see how this ends.

But for what it's worth, she too may be married. For example, to the other boy from the store, the one who "took the credit" last time. Even Yashiro-sensei is married in this future |

This episode 11 has so many talking points, that I dun know where to start.
But reading here, most importantly, this is something original different from the manga??? Guess I really need to start on the manga when the series ends. P.S: I have read and saw in a few episodes back that there was this line/thread on Airi, and it was true. Didn't know that it will become a plot point. So, how about Kayo and Satoru's mum? Did they show the thread on them too? Which episode/time was it? Thanks in advance |

I can't believe there is not more discussion about how super-mom Sachiko is. She literally took care of Satoru for 15 years. She is really an amazing woman.
As for Kayo, it was expected that she moved on. She is currently 25, and the events happened when she was 10-11. I would not expect that someone I had a crush on when I was 11 to still have that crush at 18, much less at 25. She did what Satoru wanted: is no longer alone and living her life. As for Airi, I hope people realize that she is only 13 years old right now. She will not be working at a pizza place at this point nor even married. Satoru will not even meet her in the original timeline for maybe another 3 years, much less this timeline. So in this episode, Yashiro is being a bit cocky. He looks like he wants the thrill and in your face attitude by getting close to Satoru. A psychopath always loves the thrill of getting close to being captured but escaping in the end. Let's see how this all wraps up the next episode.

Now the question is, who's phone did he leave in Kumi's room? Was it Satoru's, and he's framing him for a suicide (or was he about to proceed with a plan against Kumi before Satoru showed up, and was going to have Satoru be the fall guy for THAT)? Or is it someone else's? I thought maybe it was Doctor Kitamura's, but his was white while this one is yellow. Also curious if Satoru's had his memories for a some time proceeding calling Yashiro out, or if the tapping triggered his memories. |

So that's what "erased" meant, that he got erased for, how much, 15 years? Surely it is sad and left me a bad taste to see him erased while everyone, realistically, moved on. Especially Kayo of course, but I'm glad the show stayed realistic making her live her life; it also fits with Satoru's path of the hero (yet probably I'd avoided to make her marry his friend, even if again from her perspective it makes quite sense).
Everyone but her mother. That goddess of her mother. So, if that's his timeline now he shouldn't remember anything of his "previous" life, still he was shown to know how to fully read and to remember his grown up face, so maybe he will keep his previous live's memories, filling that big hole the coma dug. Speaking of Yashiro his brief story he narrated basically explained why he kept him alive and why he is there before him right now. To cut that thread that kept him alive till now. Sort of. About Airi the best you should expect is they will meet at work to imply that Satoru reconnected to his previous timeline and so he could start again from where he stopped at episode one leaving any development up to you. Well, in any case, great episode I suppose. I've yet to fully process it.

Maybe that's why he was in a rush to be able to walk. His memories came back and he knows that Yashiro is coming after him.

Dang cliffhanger...or roofhanger in this case.
I'm thinking Satoru has his memory back before his latest encounter with Yashiro, and he probably has some kind of a trap set up with Kenya, and he can probably walk by now. That doctor is a damn bast***! Revealing medical info like that is against the rules. He'd get fired should they find out. Whoa, totally didn't expect Hiromi to be the girl stealer...lol. And Kenya grew up to be a fine man! And Satoru's mom is the best! Totally salute her!

Still wondering: did he go dormant the last 15 years? Or did he just keep on killing. I know I got a chill when he narrated about those mice in the opening. |

After episode 9 i wouldn't mind if they ended with Satoru drowned and showing his mom in despair. Just leave the entire waking up from comma part out because this original ended is just bad. Maybe have a 2 episode OVA, BD onry episode or something else to finish the story, they'll have plenty of time to think. Sachiko and Airi doesn't deserve this shit end they are giving us.

Now that I had some time to reflect thru this episode, just wanna have a few comments:
- Was surprising to see Yashiro "save" Satoru ala Spice before the OP. That delivery was fantastic. - Great mum, we already know. - Kayo x Hiromi. Now I didnt see that coming. From the episodes so far, and even the main image poster, I will have thought about Satoru x Kayo but what do you know? This is so different from what we are used to. - Its now 2003, and I presume that they are still at Hokkaido, and not Tokyo. So Airi is like 12/13? So I dun expect an Airi end either. So how will this end? Spoiler for From OP:
