Is there a source for that? Also, wouldn't it be the second season?

It was during episode 26 of the anime JoJo's Bizarre Adventure we learn the production of Arc 3!

I don't see anywhere that suggests a 2nd season yet. Neither does the official source (webpage/twitter) or magazine sources confirms that. There's the after-credits part in episode 26, but that doesn't confirm anything. They could do an OVA (again) after all. (yes, I know it would be mean and stupid if they don't do it, especially since it's Part 3.)

I'm hoping that if they actually do it, part 3 would be 3 cours. And change Jotaro and Joseph's CV. Sugita is great as young Joseph, but I'm not buying his old voice... yet.

Funny how the commercial for the new Railgun season aired right after how JoJo ended with the Jotaro teaser. All the Japanese commenters on the stream I watched were basically like "FFFFUUUUUU--- WHAT THIS!? DON'T NEED THIS GIVE US PART 3".

My first mental image when Sugita started speaking as OLD Joseph.

One thing's for sure.

I am going to miss both Speedwagon and Stroheim very much, probably too much

They sure made an effort with the final episode.
Pretty much everything was explained.
It was all crammed into just one episode.
Honestly, it's a shame they didn't explain it over a few episodes.
Final fight was pretty good. Nice final episode.

The last episode was fantastic. Loved the use of the first opening as an insert song. I enjoyed the extra animation for the character epilogues too, even if it wasn't much.

i'd love to thanks David Production and the entire staff from the poor guys drawing the frames to the voice actors for doing a fantastic job and showing how much they LOVE Jojo.

Thank to you, I felt like a child again awaiting for his anime fix. Jojo may not be artsy, morally ambiguous, intellectually challenging, thought provoking or a feat of experimental animation; but, in the end, its larger-than-life characters, world and story, its sincere belief in the values it tries to convey made it an entertaining watch.

That was absolutely perfect. Glad that there are plans to do part 3 even though nothing official yet.

I can't believe its taken me this long to get introduced to the Jojo franchise. This really is a masterpiece, well at least in my eyes. Can't wait to pick up the manga now.

Yeah, this adaptation feels like a love letter to the past and eloquently tells what were the manga/anime about. So genuinely powerful and fun.

Random thought, am I the only one to think that Stroheim being such a large ham with no indoor voice likely drew EVERY sniper within hearing distance to his location during the Battle of Stalingrad?

That seems to be pretty likely. Oh well at least he went down then praising the glory of Germany .

I've always thought he was killed by a sniper. The anime version makes it all the more likely
