Haha that was a nice cliffhanger after the ED.
The animation did look a little sloppy, but this was a good ep overall. It had a nice, steady pace and we're getting closer and closer to catching up with the manga. It's getting exciting. =]

That was a decent episode. It was good to revisit good old Team Mustang, and see Hoho confront Pride. Drachma attacking Briggs also made for a good cliffie... Can't wait 'till next week, we finally get to see Marcoh in action.

Much like last week, this episode was a perfect adaption of the corresponding manga chapters. Very faithful and very good.
The highlight being Hohenheim calling Pride a hikikomori. Pure win right there. Preview seems to have great animation, though I'm not a big fan of those chapters. |

We are rapidly approaching awesomeness overload here. But considering the source material it's to be expected.

Interesting, so Pride can't go anywhere else...
I'm more interested about the end of this episode though. I'm sure there's some trick to Kimblee's action... maybe the so-called D. army they're fighting at Briggs really isn't the real army?

10 for me. even though I know everything that occurs, the episode really, really did a great job i n building up tension and making you feel like all of the enemy's plans were coming to fruition.
Spoiler for A summary of everything we have seen so far, including things you may have missed over the last several episodes:

And yeah Brotherhood has always been adamant about showing Ed in every episode but this time they don't really have a choice I guess. |

Loved this episode for 2 reasons Hoeinheim not only pissed offed Pride with his wickedly sharp tounge (I hate pride btw) But when he states he just "declared War" was bad ass.
Next week looks a lot of bloodshed too bad the Ice Queen of Briggs wont be there to show us her stuff. But the fighting alone should be well worth the watch. The briggs soliders are high trained and loyal and work very very well as a team. I wonder even with Kimblees plans to sow confusion in the ranks will his plan really succeed. All the loyal soldiers in Briggs know that none of Kimblees men can be trusted and they have all worked together for so long they know by now whos one of them and whose not. All i know is i would not like to attack a fortress like Briggs. A heavily fortified wall with poor visiblity because of the snow high trained fearless solider who are willing to fight to the death on the inside and Cannons sitting on what must be the best high Ground in the area. Not to mention the Briggs soldiers can about freely in fortress bring up fresh guns and fresh amunition.

Great episode.
I am surprised at Mustang's men though...talking on the phone like that, give me a break here. Hohenheim is pretty bad ass. I thought Ed was going to run into Rose in a different town. I had thought Lior was still a war zone and all. Oh, and the preview once again, shows too much. What the hell!? Down with spoilers!! Oh, what volume are we in right now?
