About the three-man teams (or "three-man-sel" as the game calls it). How many of them do you know? Well, the "usual" ones are easy to guess: just choose your genins as they were teamed up during the chuunin exam. Besides those, I've found:
Kakashi+Guy+Iruka
Zabuza+Haku+Itachi

I think it's actually:

kakashi+gai+sandaime
and
anko+iruka+mizuki

oh, too bad 3-man team mode is so flawed

I'd probubly use:

kiba+sasuke+ (either: naruto, itachi, haku, lee, hinata)

well.. i guess they could add taunting.... and more... i don't want EVERYONE to be able to increase chakra like chouji... and maybe they can do it so you can manually kawarami or something to any side of the opponent X.x..

That "stupid down + X frog" is in fact a very useful super.

I've found that by combining down + a with a swift down + x will make for an inescapable and easy-to-perform combo.

I wished they actually did unique specials for the 3-man teams though. Not like all the time since that would be impossible really but when you use the proper 3-man team. For example, if you had Ino, Shikamaru and Chouji, then you would have an unique Ino-Shika-Cho combo or something while if you had Rock Lee, Neji and Tenten, you had a different combo (maybe with Rock Lee finishing off with an Ura Renge ). I was bored after doing it 3 or 4 times with different teams because they were all exactly the same.

Apart from Naruto's obvious team of Naruto/Sakura/Sasuke, Naruto can also opt for his special team of Naruto/Hinata/Iruka. :3

Hinata's "Naruto-kun!" is pretty sweet. ^^

What's more, with this team, it ends with all three striking the enemy too. :O

Oddly enough, Itachi will call out Orochimaru's name if he's involved in a team with the sennin...

Hrm.

People who call out names (not necessarily help out with part at end though)...

Naruto: Sakura, Sasuke, Iruka, Hinata, Kakashi
Sakura: Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi
Sasuke: Naruto, Sakura, Ino, Kakashi, Itachi

... well, team 7 is done at least. :3 I'll work on the others some other time...

yo i just saw this game on import at my local gameshop,
only problem is it's 80 euro's plus I would have to buy a boot disc,
now I'm on the verge of buying but I need some advice

what is even stupider is that you can use it back to back until you hit your opponent and RARELY does it leave your opponent with SOME life... O_O

btw, Kankurou kicks ass, and i beat the whole game and unlocked
everything in 10 hours, i dont lie, and i dont use any cheating device.
it hardly seems possible to beat the game in 20 minutes, unless you're
talking about the arcade mode which can be beat way less than that.

yes as far as i know, theres some sort of cheating device.
and against 3 opponents, it helps for me if i jump back.

I seriously need help with mission 22 >< I have spent almost 6 straight hours on it and I can't do a 6+rasengan combo. Hitting Orochimaru with the combo is not so hard but the super attack does not connect with him, it just brushes against him so he loose about 2-3% of his Health. Can someone give me all possible combos that actually works? Or any other suggestions and tips?

It's so frustrating because that I can't connect the rasengan for it's maximum damage but only take 2-3% hp, that's why I have to first bring Orochimaru to around 40% but if I bring his health 1-2% too much or too little, the final rasengan will not kill him so I have to start all over.

A pretty simple one, I actually made this on my first try! ^^

Forward+b, b,... b, a, a, b, x
Practice it a few times and its good to go.. the most frustrating thing with the mission is that you have to let him hit you so many times before you can do the rasengan.. and that low-level computer is sooo slow..
