You know what's even worse about what he's doing? He's helping people associate political will with being an utter scumbag, and this will have heavy repercussions on the next election or when the Prez gets the boot.

Pretty much. They say they wanted change, but they refuse to change themselves. Discipline is still on a low, and corruption still exists in other forms like red tape and using the national budget to force alliances.

I'm just patiently waiting for the moment where Do Dirty's actions are actually acted upon.

Watching the actual news item he doesn't actually call Obama as such. The term "putang ina" is more of a colloquial term to denote frustration in the Filipino context and not necessarily directed to the person in question. You kind of need to live here to know what it means. I personally use it but I'm not calling anyone a son of a whore.

Duterte supporters and detractors of course are going to have a field day with this.

It's more disconcerting how a mass electorate can in this current day...can vote someone into power solely on the premise of mass butchering others as an easy solution....and still support it even when it's clearly getting out of hand
