This is definitely one of my favorite Web Novel's.

The main characters are quite interesting & is developed well so far in the story from their believable strengths & flaws. Story's pacing is also done well so far (though some may find it slow maybe).

Also the cute russian NINJA, can't forget that. Also no harem in sight.

A girl that was kidnapped. He was all to aware of the danger the world brings & is pretty scared of his partner's safety after what they did just get through (she did almost die to a poison arrow & ended up pretty battered trying to know of the antidote) & would rather not get too involved & let the local authorities handle it.

It was actually their first major fight too.

Estelion Sharlulu actually made a teaser of chapter 5 sometime ago, a good chapter to those who can't wait to see what's ahead.

So how harsh exactly is it? Most web novels nowadays make the main characters ridiculously OP from the get-go, which I'm getting a bit tired of.

^Basically.

They are not OP at all. They have a bit of an edge because of some enhancements & magic as they are both DEMONDAL addicts as well but that's it. Kei can use a sword when he needs to be but he's an Archer first & foremost.

It is "needlessly realistic". Get poisoned & you'll most likely drop right there & suffer before dying, get injured in an arm & you won't be able to use it in battle anytime soon, etc.

There are (rare & expensive) healing potions but

It doesn't taste well & the quick healing process are agonizingly very painful. They really don't want to use them at all if possible.

What should I say? That sounds awesome! Finally a story that's a bit more realistic.

Another thing I wanted to ask is about their goals in the new world. What exactly do they want to do now that they are in another world? Return?

Just a little bit but it's not that spoiler-ish since its only chapter 5. You'll be left hanging & wanting more though.

I read this a while ago but iirc the world is the game world 100(was it thousand?) years in the future or something. The map the MC and heroine knew has been changed. villages have grown into big towns and all that stuff.

Death would be permanent.

well that's biased. He can use multiple tough. But the one he's best at is the bow and arrow.(i-e it's the one with his highest mastery)
Usually players have multiple masteries in multiple weapons.

And in this type of setting an archer might actually be the safest class. Because you might die if you get up close and personal with something.

So don't hate 'cus archer'. Makes you sound like a prick.
