The end was a bit bizarre because it was the last episode but it didn't feel like that. Oh well, at least the second season is on air.

Other than that, all I have to say is that I loved this show like everybody else. Hooray for second season.

I finished Zetsubou Sensei! It was a overall funny anime series that I'm glad I picked up.

Me too take Chiri-chan as favourite and I don't mind make her my GF as long as she would allow me properly break up with her when I want to (I would find a proper excuse for the break-up at time). I think it would be good and cool for me to live a proper life at least for a while.

At a quick glance it appears to be a recap of eps 1 and 2 with maybe a new trailer but now I notice that Wiki has the following.

A special fifty-minute DVD summary episode titled Sayonara Zetsubō Sensei Jo: Zetsubō Shōjo Senshū (さよなら絶望先生 序〜絶望少女撰集, Sayonara Zetsubō Sensei Jo: Zetsubō Shōjo Senshū) was released on January 1, 2008. The DVD consists of seven parts, each of them featuring one of main heroines with several additions to the original TV broadcast version. A twenty-minute version was aired as an outline summary on BS11 Digital on January 4, 2008.

Yeah, according to the show itself, it was a more faithful version that followed more closely to the manga.

That's what happens when they didn't know if a show could get a second season or not; they changed the story to permit a 13 episode series to conclude, but when they needed a second season they had to retroactively alter the first season for the continuation to make sense.

No, the face is still there. They just give back some Chiri-chan's story which was cut from TV series.

I didn't see any faces during the Kafka attempt to save Itoshiki as he was hanging from Pink Young CEO. The panties weren't white, however.

At this point? Who knows, maybe, maybe not.

Since the source is from a 50 minute DVD, and we've only seen 20 minutes of it, there can be more. But then, either someone needs to obtain the full Zetsubou Girls Collection DVD or BS11 (or some other TV station) needs to broadcast more of it (and then someone needs to sub it).

I have a question: does Kaffka really not recognize things for what they are?
Those two times she saw Nozomu commiting suicide she immediately recognized it for what it was - a suicide attempt. "It's not suicide, it's something else" came after that.
Meaning she's not closing her eyes to reality - she's beautificating her memories.

She's simply not normal. Like almost everyone in the whole show. Everyone except for Nami-chan. xD

Has anyone...seen the first episode of Season 2 yet? Obviously hasn't been subbed yet but...just asking.
