It’s forbidden to sell the clothes you’re wearing to pay off a gambling debt.
That's a rather specific law

Quote:
Pennsylvania
It’s illegal to sleep on top of a refrigerator outdoors.
I am not going to even ask why that is a law .

Look the records up for that law, I'm sure you'll find most of the offenders were housecats.

I question how often refrigerators are kept outdoors generally, especially up north .

These stupid state laws are ridiculous.

Quote:
Arkansas
It's illegal to mispronounce the name of the state of Arkansas.
I know this one, and I keep telling my mother she'd go to jail for the way she says it.

Quote:
Colorado
It’s unlawful to lend your vacuum cleaner to your next-door neighbor (Denver)
Why????

Quote:
If you tie an elephant to a parking meter, you must pay the same parking fee as you would for a vehicle.
If it's a law, then it's obviously happened before.

Quote:
Kansas
It’s illegal to throw knives at men wearing striped suits (Natoma).
Oh, and it's perfectly fine and dandy to throw knives at people wearing anything else?

Quote:
Nevada
It’s illegal for men with mustaches to kiss women.
WHAT THE HELL? That means I'm gonna go to jail, and my father is going to jail on... so many accounts of breaking the law. This is a load of crap, I've lived in Nevada for 12 years, and I haven't heard this! I swear to god, I'm gonna kick Harry Reid's ass over this...

I've seen the occasional fridge or freezer kept out on the "mud room" porch (particularly in old homes with very small kitchens) but all I can think of is "Uncle Wazoo" cooling himself in the summer on the freezer out on the porch (those freezers that look like trunks that you open from the top).

Fox News talks about video games again, but this time with a whole new bizarro partisian twist that I kind of saw coming as soon as they started talking about environmentalism.

My three most favorite parts about the video are

1. How sheepish the guest sounds
2. The part around 2:18 where the Fox guy does the classic bait and switch of trying to foist the insanity of the topic off onto the guest while of course knowing they've already planted the idea into the viewers heads and never really trying to disprove it.
3. Fox News criticizing anyone for using fear as means of influence.

Journalism at it's finest, or comedy at it's finest? You decide

I think I may actually want to work for Fox News. It's probably the one place where my one sole talent of "making shit up" can actually come in useful.

No, no... World Weekly News where all the Only Reliable News is.... home of the Batboy.

Seriously, they're more relevant and on target than Fox is most of the time.

I mean.. how cool is Putin?

Malaysia bets China will warm to stinky 'king of fruit'

I kinda agree to the journalist that if the mainland Chinese do take a liking to Durian, will there be enough for the locals? Hopefully not.

Seemingly drunk Swedish moose found stuck in tree

"A seemingly intoxicated moose has been discovered entangled in an apple tree
by a stunned Swede.

Per Johansson says he heard a roar from his vacationing neighbor's garden in
southwestern Sweden late Tuesday and went to have a look. There, he found a
female moose kicking about in the tree. The animal was likely drunk from eating
fermented apples."
