The MP was a fresh wind really and I didn't expect it to be so good. I think it's the cooperative nature that does it, which makes it even better if you have 3 mates to play with. If it had been PvP it probably would have fallen pretty flat. It's also quite nice with the difficulty levels as bronze is just fine for starting off, Silver is fine for practicing for Gold, and Gold itself is a masochist's dream. Would have been nice if it had balanced itself according to the amount if players... But seeing how everything else went, it might have been for the best. The class system works quite nicely as well. I've found Engineer to be my favorite, which surprised even me as I'm primarily an Infiltrator. Really, all the classes are really fun to play and neither feels OP compared to the rest.

If for some reason I don't take one of them then I get Liara with me. And where is my Krogan, we need someone like Wrex again. |

My team is usually Liara ( my love interest + biotic powers are in need a lot) and Garrus ( totally bro character). Sometimes I take Kaidan/Prothean, when I am bored, but no one can beat Garrus in conversations/jokes and I find his voice totally awesome.

My favorites are Liara (my maleShep's LI, since they royally screwed up Miranda's romance, this time around) and Garrus, as well. Got pretty pissed when I took them with me for the final mission - only to have one magically appear somewhere else, later. That was weird, to say the least.
I'm still struggling to decide who I'll roll with my femShep, since the game did not recognize her ME2 save (who knows why) and the Renegade vanilla options are kinda meh (Wrex, Thane and Kelly Chambers are already dead, for starters), but I'll try to soldier on. Sometime. Edit: Holy shit, the Mass Effect anime is about James Vega! Will they get Freddie Prinze, Jr. to voice him again? Speaking of which: Seriously, if they modeled Vega after him, they did a pretty bad job of it. They look absolutely nothing alike.

You know what? I think Bloware got it wrong.
I know that they want to leave room for future games set in the same universe. But that shouldn't mean Shepard should be stuck with sucky choices no matter what he had done all three games. By all means, create a "canon" ending for future MassEffect games. But don't cut the happy ending out just because you think you can... What am I saying? They are just waiting to sell the happy ending as DLC. The illusion of choice had always been important. But it seems the illusion had finally been broken. There is no choice at all. There is no point replaying ME 1 and 2 over and over to get the perfect save file to import. There is only one ending. I didn't ask for much. Just peace between the Quarians and the Geth. All the forces of the galaxies banned together like brothers to defeat the common enemy, and succeeds. It could have been a non-canon ending. I would have been happy with that. The entire argument the Reapers made were unconvincing.

It´s been hinted that the NG+ could wield a different ending. But I haven't seen anyone commenting on it, hence the question.
Me neither. But maybe we're both wrong, eh?

It's like Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Everything you've done from the beginning meant nothing. On that matter From Twitter from the Producer Hardest. Day. Ever. Seriously, if you people knew all the stuff we are planning...you'd, we'll - hold onto your copy of me3 forever. IMO Chrono Trigger is probably the best series that actually had reasonable endings. |

I don't see how they could motivate people to buy DLC's when in the end it doesn't change anything at all.
I mean the internet is in an uproar over the ending. I don't see anything unless it actually relates to the ending. |

As for the rest of the squadmates, I loved that Liara continued her positive development. I guess a lot of people were pissed by her in ME 2 which led to The Lair of The Shadow Broker DLC and her role in ME 3. Tali was also terrific during the quarrian missions. Garrus and Kaidan were cool. Quote:
Spoiler for ending:
Anyway, the combat was improved as biotics are useful again and the adversaries are smarter but the dialogue was often facepalm-worthy, the side-quests were for the most part nothing but planet scanning, the journal is extremely unhelpful and there are just too many Reapers, so they suffer from the conservation of ninjutsu trope. The continuity-porn is excellent, though, some missions are awesome...which makes the other flaws all the more annoying somehow.

No question that there will be extra story DLC to actually complete the story..for a price. That or, some "epilogue."
Frankly, some of the endings just do not appear consistent at all with the series, especially Synthesis(magic ending?). Sovereign in ME1 made the Reapers appear like a collective of hyper intelligent beings (each a nation, etc etc). In ME3 they appear kind of stupid. All the subtly and patience of Sovereign thrown by the way side. Hell, even Harbinger used the Collectors, so I am not sure why all that was forgotten by the Reapers, especially since they waited generations to properly kill the Protheans. About the planet with the 2 moons, Spoiler for .:

Once they are done with all the DLC, I suspect an MMO or a continuation of the MP in some form in the future. |
