The newly announced cast members are:

Misaki Kuno as Shiori, the daughter of an officer at the local police box She is younger than Renge and calls her "onee-chan".:

Aimi Tanaka as Akane Shinoda, a first-year high school student who plays the flute in the same band as Konomi:

The band nano.RIPE is performing the opening theme song "Tsugihagi Moyō" (Patchwork Pattern), and the characters Renge Miyauchi, Hotaru Ichijo, Natsumi Koshigaya, and Komari Koshigaya (as voiced by their respective cast members) are singing the ending theme song "Tadaima" (I'm Home).

Another series I didn't expected to return and here it is and it is as cute as ever. The self-made dolls were cute, lol at that culture shock moment from Akane. And it seems Hotaru gonna get confused for a grown-up yet again next week. xD

I'm happy with the increased Konomi screentime this season. It totally looked like Hotaru was holding her hand rather than the other way around.

I've always like that Hotaru always tries to appear as mature as she looks but is really just a kid on the inside.

An entire episode about Natsumi and Higake's friendship, fully of funny and cute moments. The supporting characters seem to be getting more screentime this season. Hope Candy Store will get her episode too! Maybe even Nii-chan could get one? Yeah, no, that's one thing that won't happen.
