There are a few Hoshi no Shito members that are in the manga, but haven't been introduced in the anime yet. The most memorable that I can think of is the good "doctor". (I hope this doesn't need a spoilers tag... I mean, I think I'm being very non-specific here...)

Anywho, back to episode 10...

What is interesting is that Train is sort of the outsider of the group consisting of Train, Sven, and Eve. In the manga, Eve was the latest addition to the group, while in the anime, the chronology is slightly different. This makes the group dynamic slightly different where Eve and Sven have a pretty close relationship, where the manga depicts a closer relationship between Train and Sven.

Also, having Sven and Eve closer makes alot more sense with the background in the anime. It also gives Train and Eve more room to develop and could allow for Train x Eve

Ep. 10 was pretty cool. I didn't expect Echida to look so horrible though. She looked better in the manga.

And shouldn't this thread be in the DVD & Licensed section?

Why? It's not officially announced as being Licensed, so why should it be in the Licensed forum?

maybe, maybe not, it is still unclear if BC is licensed or not.

Now, I went to A-K's homepage again, and the annoucement is gone, and Black Cat is listed as "Active" again.

Huh???

I saw episode 10 a couple of days ago, and it's probably one of my favorite episodes so far, if not my absolute favorite episode. It was incredible..

She's Shana from Shakugan no SHANA, a great series (so far).

But nothing important happened otherwise it would and should have been shown. And in episode 8 they didn't show any signs of increased friendship outside that they don't care that he was an assassin, which was made clear in and at the end of episode 7. So they still should have shown actual Sven and Train friendship development before episode 10.

Too bad they didn't. That's why I believe that there should have been one filler episode in between at that time to explain more of what had happened during that six months to bring Train closer to Eve and Sven.

But the interaction in the car in ep. 8 and the hunt for the criminal in ep.9 did show that there was a change and that those 2 (Train and Sven) were a team.

But still, I don't like him There's only 8 (?around that number, anyways) members of the Apostle of the Stars? I was kinda expecting for there to be like, a whole army. Awww, January 12? Spoiler for episode 10: This episode was kind of nice... it explores Sven's past without really beating us over the head with it. It also helps to strengthen and elaborate the relationship between Train and Sven. What surprised me is that Train is really trying to kill Creed. In the manga, he never had such homicidal rages as the anime, since it went against Saya's whole carefree, life-outlook. And it's also nice to see that Taoists kick some numbers buttox; when Creed first showed up with his "imagine blade" (kotetsu lvl 2) in the manga, he cut off Train's right hand... and in a lot of ways, the manga Train is a lot more skilled than the anime Train. At least this Train plotting revenge is alot more interesting then someone happy-go-lucky after something like that happened. Also, having Sven and Eve closer makes alot more sense with the background in the anime. It also gives Train and Eve more room to develop and could allow for Train x Eve . __________________

Spoiler for Episode 10: It was a very eventful episode. The return of Creed as the leader of the Hoshi no Shito (Apostles of the Stars) was phenomenal. One thing I especially loved in this episode was Train's behavior upon learning that Creed was alive. It's almost as if he went back to his Black Cat persona a la Kenshin's Hitokiri side. His sheer determination and hatred for Creed really kept me at the edge of my seat. The plethora of action pleased my eyes, and the music really set the mood of some scenes, especially the scene where Train is running towards Creed and then begins to face off against him. The revelation of Sven's past was also a nice touch. A truly great episode; I look forward to other episodes being as good as this.

Spoiler: Up until then, they'd hardly had any deep interaction, and then all of a sudden Train reminds Sven of his dead partner? Way too rushed. This should have come several episodes later with some actual friendship interaction and development between the two of them first. The only significant things between Train and Sven were where Sven kept calling Train Chronos' lapdog, then said he thought better of Train after seeing him save those kids in episode 7. That's hardly any true development, then suddenly Sven is all worried about Train like they've been friends forever. Train and Eve have had much more developmental interaction than Train and Sven, with Train coming to kill Eve, Train not killing Eve when he had her dead in his sights, the bell thing in episode 7, and their rivalry thing in episode 8. __________________

Spoiler: So,at that point it is plausible for Sven to remember his dead partner and say,"Geez I did this dumb thing before and almost got killed just like Train is doing know." and do what his partner did and protect the idiot without getting killed. __________________
