Well, I don't think he took care of her for the purpose of hooking up with her, he probably has no idea she has romantic feelings for him. He just cares about her as a loyal "guard dog," while she fell for him as the only one who was there for her a pivotal moment in her childhood.

Isaku is still trying to make friends, and when Keiya is away, the boys will prey...as Tamaru introduces himself and tries to get them connected on Insta. This might actually be a good opportunity for Isaku to start forming some real relationships! Just, y'know, be wary of Keiya .
I'm glad Keiya held off on freaking out until he was in their Yakuza office and started shooting up the place. You know you're a high school Yakuza when you're waving a gun around and trying to figure out how to take a kid out who became insta friends with a girl. I feel sorry for any of his fellow Yakuza who have to bear the brunt of his relationship problems with Isaku . In any sensible story Isaku would realize her love for Keiya is hopeless and would let things naturally progress with Tamura as they get all cute and friendly DMing each other...but this is a story about a Yakuza Guardian posing as a high school student, so don't expect that kind of sense . Poor Isaku. She's so down bad for Keiya but he never so much as gets flustered around her. At least that she knows . Maybe it was a bad idea for a socially awkward girl to suddenly be going on a karaoke excursion with a bunch of more sociable, energetic, and experienced people. I mean, I get Isaku wants to put herself out there, but she really was out of place here. And that's before they started smoking and bringing out the beers while macking on each other right in front of her . Although what a bummer that we had a karaoke episode and the Akarin character didn't actually sing. I wonder if Isaku sings as well as her VA ? Ugh. Tamura was only into Isaku because he thought she'd be easy. What a piece of trash. Although not sure if he quite deserved getting his face smashed into the table multiple times by Keiya. Would Keiya have killed him if Isaku hadn't stopped him ? Car door kabedon ! Isaku's just tired of everything, her hopeless love for Keiya, screwing things up here, and just in general all the drama...but Keiya himself basically basks in her in full makeup, admits he can't accept her being with another boy, and seems to be more considerate of her as a girl and less as his mistress than she thinks. Also she left lipstick on his shirt which (while unintentional) was such a girlfriend move .

I was wondering what the disclaimer was about but its rare that underage drinking and smoking makes it to an anime adaptation. Still kind of on the fence about this series but I'm sticking with it for now.

I liked the face smashing (or maybe just forehead?), didn't expect him to actually assault one of the school kids even though he deserved it. I felt like this is pretty much where it was heading once she started walking with them toward the karaoke place.

Keiya feels like a pretty realistic view of how a professional criminal would feel about a high school education...that is, he doesn't care at all. Good thing Isaku is there to make sure he doesn't discredit his current status as a student, artificial as it is .
Figures that girls would want to join their study session just to hang out with Keiya. Although now that she mentions it...that one girl does kind of have a hostess-looking face. Was Keiya serious about recruiting her ? Poor Isaku, getting guardian-zoned like that and feeling like she got rejected without even confessing. Not that it's anything she isn't used to at this point . Lucky Keiya getting a beautiful hostess kissing him, and it seems like it's not the first time he's had her companionship, though unfortunately he can't bang a girl on a school night. Plus the only woman that truly has his heart is Isaku . On the one hand, Isaku doesn't care for how close Keiya is with other women, on the other hand...if he finally has the motivation to study, she can't complain. And what better way to cap off a late night study session than by sleeping in each others' arms ? I guess a reward from his mistress is ample motivation to put some work in at school. I didn't expect Keiya to straight up ask for a kiss though. I was also surprised Isaku didn't jump at the opportunity, but I guess she was just so thrown off emotionally . But a zoo date seems like a more reasonable reward, and one that also makes Isaku happy, and it's nice to see the pair genuinely have fun together. Including some embarassing moments like Isaku getting lifted up by Keiya just to see some koalas. Girl even got some good hand-holding in ! I'm not used to seeing a girl get blisters from shoes that aren't geta sandals, but still a good opportunity for Keiya to take care of her and compliment her on her beauty. All that prep work to look pretty for Keiya was worth it ! Keiya just had to ruin the mood by mentioning all the women he's kissed while having sex...but then he saves it by saying Isaku is the first girl he WANTS to kiss (and probably not a familial cheek kiss like Isaku assumed). And Isaku is finally ready to accept it. Will they finally kiss? Is this a major turning point in their relationship ?

I should've known Isaku would chicken out, though admittedly her running away was actually kind of adorable. Though a guy trying to shoot Keiya from behind kind of killed the mood and just made Isaku double-down on thinking there's no romantic future in being with someone like Keiya .
Does Isaku finally have female friends? For real!? Even Keiya seems happy for her. Well, less so when any boy gets close and acts nice towards her, but I guess that's a given. Dude is liable to kill one of his male classmates at this rate . Of course the Girl Talk of the night is how Isaku and Keiya feel like an obvious couple, but I love that one girl who straight up does sit-ups and puts out how she might make a move on Keiya. Girls got guts . Sneaking out past curfew and into the men's bath of all places? What youth! And of course Isaku runs into Keiya in nothing but a towel. I guess he would have to bathe by himself to hide his Yakuza tats. And what a way to reflect on your love while embracing a dude in a bathroom to hide from the teachers . Does Keiya know Isaku likes him? It seems like he has an idea, he's just not acting on it until she's ready to tell him . Keiya straight up putting the moves on one of the teachers. What a ladykiller . I kind of want to see more of Isaku's swimsuit...but of course Keiya doesn't want anyone ogling his lady . Points for initiative in knocking a dude out with a watermelon Isaku, even if it was just an additional bodyguard there to monitor things. Although first the dude gets hit with a watermelon and then gets punched by Keiya for missing Isaku getting kidnapped, so this was not this dudes' day . Oh snap, Isaku's been kidnapped by a rival Yakuza family! Is Keiya about to unleash himself to save her ?

Maybe it's because she's the Heroine of a Shojo manga, or the granddaughter of a Yakuza boss, but it was probably inevitable that Isaku would be kidnapped...though it seems like the purpose here was to hurt Keiya's standing in the family .
Isaku with the headbutt! That was some quick-thinking on her part to get free and give Keiya a chance to jump into the van to get her! Of course then they end up crashing...and just end up abandoning the thugs to drown because they can't swim. Convenient ! Well, whether there's a future together for them or not, Isaku loves Keiya, doesn't want to see him get hurt, and wants to spend whatever time she can with him. And maybe that's enough . Jeez, I know the teachers don't know any better, but it sucks that Isaku went through all that and gets scolded and denied seeing the fireworks and hanging out with everybody else. None of this was her fault ! Isaku knowing self-defense is probably a good idea, but her attempts to throw Keiya just make it look like she wants to dance wit him. Also, Isaku in that braided ponytail ! I should've known Keiya would be the type to make someone else do his summer homerwork. But the promise of a reward from Isaku is enough to make him want to put in the work. And what better reward than getting Isaku fully displayed in her swimsuit all to himself? And the audience finally gets to see her in that cute bikini ! Who needs school when you can have Summer fun at home! Why it's almost like they're on a Summer date together ! Iskau's joy is infectious, but she wasn't prepared for shirtless Keiya getting in the pool with her and making him sit on her in the floatie. Bonus points for admitting she's growing into his ideal body type. That definitely has some implications .

Well Isaku seems to be the only blood relative left to the Yakuza's boss so she and her husband will inherit the position. Keiya is doing very well in the Yakuza and Isaku and Keiya love each other. It also seems their relationship is encouraged by the Yakuza boss. So what are they waiting for? Just get married and it is triple win for everyone.
