Okay, I've liked this arc thus far and nobody can accuse me of bias (well perhaps bias in favorr of the arc) but goddamn these new henchmen are really generic and annoying. Their lines feels so forced and the guy who laughs all the time is effing annoying as hell.

Otherwise, the other parts are pretty good. Like the rooftop talk.

It was awful. Proportions for the characters were continuously off and the "three new enemies" were very generic!
Points:
-Yoruichi goes back to SS.... SHOCK!
-Flashbacks to waste time/save money
--Lets talk about Archery and Boars for five minutes...
-Extremely overly dramatized entry of enemy with big bulky clothes.
-laughing gas man was annoying

And end with a care free Bankai...

The only thing that is seriously good is the OP/ED but the animation is off there too

Those henchmen really were pretty generic. You just knew almost instantly who would be matched up against who. Of course those weapons make another reappearance, but with a boost so they can take on the main characters and not get beaten quickly.

Have to say that kid put in charge of the clan really is a cliche figurehead type. Barely even registers that after being put in charge he's done almost nothing. Oh well guess he'll be living in naive world for a while longer.

Going to have to agree with everyone the Henchmen are getting really generic it makes me feel like I'm playing Naruto Rise of the ninja all over agian. Sure the weapons upgrade makes the fights last all of 5 seconds longer... the animation wasn't TOO horrible. other than that i think the arc is fine... just more action and variation would make it ALOT better...... and i loved the carefree bankai at the end, makes a good a good avatar! on a scale of 1 to 10 i give episode 175 and 8 for its mildly entertaining plot

If you remember right all the dude was interested in was fighting ichigo, he left the princess to his subordinates.

This would be one of the more colorful episodes, IMO. Very bright and pretty, I liked it. Can't wait for the hour-long special next week, presumable when Ichigo & co whoop some ninja ass.

Very true. Through that ninja guy's eyes, he didn't have to lure Ichigo away, Ichigo actually wanted to leave on his own. Convenient to the enemy.

this episode was pretty well drawn imo, though not sure why they would of wasted funds on this episode when basically not much happened besides setting up for the final fights. I've had no problem w/ this story arc, though I'm hoping it ends within the next couple weeks.

I want someone to define generic to me...cause besides the crazy laughing guy, I think almost all crazy ass ninja anime have at least one of these guys, the other two seemed fine to me. Though the guy fighting Chad seems to be the more interesting looking of the three.

Some pretty good animation quality this week. Next week's animation quality doesn't seem too shabby either, so lets hope it'll be enjoyable. The enemies... I won't say they are stereotype characters, but they aren't anything refreshing either. Then again it's not like they've had many lines. As usual, the characters decide to split up and defeat the friends, and apprarently all of them forget that they are actually finding lurichiyo. Leaving rukia to guard lurichiyo.... not the best plan, but whatever. I'm just wondering at what level are the characters at now, most notably, has chad got his LHOD yet. Oh yeah and as has been noted, ichigo's bankai animation was freaking awesome.

Exactly what is the shortcut for the quick post button anyway o_O Geez.

well...Ishida has his shiny new Quincy bow...so it would be kinda messed up if they didn't give Chad the other half of his power.

I just pray they don't make Ichigo use his Vaizard mask...

Why would he lure Ichigo away? He is the strongest, so any fighting he would do in the area of the princess would be to his advantage. Need evidence, see grimmjow fight. Ichigo had to put on his mask and take those bullets to his body because of Nell and Orihime. Although, I admit this was after Ichigo said lets go elsewhere lol. apparently they didn't go far enough.

It will turn out that the new captain is Kakashi's little brother then the narrator will say: 'By the way all those who were not paying attention to the first episode of this arc...this never happened we just did it to piss you guys off

!'

I'm guessing that whilst protecting Lurichiyo Rukia is going to get a hole poked through her AGAIN
