Yeah. The song played through the entire commercial break. Most of the commercials were Soul Eater related, except partially the first one (It delt with Square Enix's Gan Gan magazine). I was hoping one of the raw cappers would have a sense of humour and leave it in, but it doesn't seem to be the case.
However, I wanted to actually wanted to kill something after about a minute or two of the commercials. God it was annoying, but amusing at the same time. |

Not sure about that. One filler is one filler and regardless of how (un)popular the 'Legend' might be, he provides ample non-canon/plot material for times when such stuff is needed. Whether it's any good is a matter of opinion.
The condensing of Free's arc might have been less to do with Excalibur and more to do with pacing later on; they have got a massive amount of material to cover throughout the next arc and so far there's little indication Bones is going to drop the manga storyline any time soon. My current estimate is that if they intend to do so, they'll start to really diverge from the manga over the next few episodes, and then hit their own material by developing on what they've established but I could be wrong... |
