lol, maybe a 16yr old boy whos desperate with a 13yr old girl, but never a 16yr old girl with 13yr old boy. I seen that once back in school but the 16yr old girl treated the 13yr old boy more of a cute baby instead of a boyfreind. Girls are supposudley 2 years ahead too in puberty. Shikimaru might not even have started his puberty yet.

With the way Shikamaru is fond of 'old people' games such as shogi, and is bone-lazy most of the time, he might well have passed puberty, adulthood and become slightly senile in his head already. XD

They are talking. Wow I can hear the wedding bells already. Do you all really think that Kishimoto will suddenly focus on the love lives of two support characters after spending 20+ volumes barely touching the MAIN characters love life? It's not going to happen. If you want romance there are plenty of fanfics that can scratch your itch, because that's the only place your going to find it between these two characters.

Well this chapter proves that my inaccuracy in predictions stays at an incredible 99%!!! Personally I think some of mine would have been much better than what actually ended up happening, like someone taking a pill and getting 100 times stronger, and saying he would most definatily die as a result, actually dying.... So far the only thing I've been right about in naruto was kimimaro grabing the tub o sasuke and running, without actually fighting until he was forced to...
I honestly can't believe that both of them will survive, though. I guess this means they did have a surge of popularity in the latest character polls, as that's the only way I can see this as happening. From a story perspective it just makes no sense at all.

Yeah I might have bene a bit unclear on that point, but with "the genin teams don't die" that the, reffered to the leaf sorry bout that.

Let me rephrase and we'll leave the matter,

I didn't think choji would die because the series feeling and story(indeed it being a shounen) did not gave me any reason to seriously consider the death of a genin, even tho it's a secondary character.

Bah, not Alchemy, Sealing Jutsu. They've used them before, just look back at when Sasuke first got the cursed seal. Kakashi did one back then.

My words exactly. I think chapter 235 showed that Temari and Shikamaru are not meant for each other considering what Temari said and how she acted in a situation like that.

Ah that's something else and I like I said before I understand that, it's just that it was completely up to Kishimoto who could have chose to kill him... or not.

The whole chouji guaranteed death thing is not based much on the story, taking chouji's word for whether he will live or die on the matter seems very unlikley, he has no self esteem, and believes he is weak and crappy. Also you pill haters dont seem to understand chouji's clans ninjutsu, food IS thier ninjutsu. Whatever training and skills they develop are for the ability to use food pills, and their skills, notice one pill specificallly targets one of their skills, the multi size ninjutsu. Thier is no reason to believe anyone else can survive the use of this skill, especially since he appeared to eb the only fat ninja in the show. You guys seem to think a mna who collapsed from unseen damage should have less chance of survival than a man with a 4 inch whole through his chest.. Basically, you dont like chouji, your not interested in his plight, so you like the idea of his death. You believe that using food pills is cheesy and shouldnt be rewarded, fine, but getting a cursed seal and turning into a monster isnt cheesy... Well you can have your own opinions. But its not really based on what happened in the story, just your preference of charachters and events

Also about Chouji and the pill, the guy was lucky to live. Even with medical support. This doesn't mean people will start using pills just because Chouji survived, his condition should be reason enough to avoid it.

She's there, talking with him. (not with gaara, kankuro, other sand nins, etc)
If she didnt care or wasnt curious, she wouldnt be there.

Also, shes kind of obvious: she's bitching at him like she's already his girlfriend. (for example, when she says 案外脆いんだな ) The way shes trying to get a rise out of him, and the way she seems to be concerned about him. Observe the look on her face in the last few pages.

Sorry, you may not see it, but she has totally fallen for him.
