Looking back, I was a bit leery about Death Billiards being anything other than stand alone, so it'll be interesting to see how they convert it into a series.

Wonder if they're going to have the same format but with other indoor pastimes, as billiards every week as the 'game' would be a bit samey.

I'm imagining some cross between the Twilight Zone and Indoor League.

Still, it'll be something different, and that in itself is cause to check it out when it airs!

Fucking awesome. The premise of Death Billiards had a lot of potential, and I'm happy they will get the chance to expand it.

Given the title change, it's obvious we're going to see more games than billiards. This could be the next Kaiji.

Sweet. Just re-watched this the other day and wondered when we'd see more ガム.

Considering what Madhouse can be like in the wrong hands these days, let's hope the staffing remains mostly in tact.

EDIT: just saw the chapter, maaaan it was awesome, amazing quality, good script, interesting characters and it kept me intrigued till the end(any idea of to wich place went each one??)
Its done, gonna watch this

Give it a watch - it's only 25 minutes long after all. It makes a good case for an episodic series and has a golden age Madhouse vibe to it.

It certainly looked like the most interesting new series this winter season. I had no idea it was a sequel to Death Billiards, but now I really have high hopes for this.

As far as I know, this has not been independently confirmed as a Winter series. I don't think there's been any official announcement beyond "2015".
