I think in one part of the opening it showed kind of one of those parts where the bad guys appear only for a 10 second time.
There was a girl in a black skirt uniform and i think she was blonde.

There are three seasons of Nanoha, the first is just Nanoha and Fate, both lolis. A's is the sequel with Nanoha, Fate, and introducing Hayate and the Knights (Vita in the pic there is one of the Knights), as antagonists. Then last year season three aired, StrikerS, which is set 10 years later when Nanoha and the gang are grown up, and introduces a new set of chracters again.

alright i watched this anime when i was about 8-9 years old. it was in cantonese dub. it was about this guy/boy that finds this mech in a dumpyard i think. at first he controls it with a sliding handle looking thing, then after a while it "evolves" and now its controlled by 2 black orbs where the handles used to be. oh and i remember he finds a shield for the mech. when they first find it, it looks like a useless piece of junk but once it comes in contact with the mech it becomes a really nice shield. thats all i remember hopefully someone knows what i'm talking about

Are you sure that those aren't just random anime girls? I remember a real-life advertisement a few years ago that used an anime-style girl that they just totally made up. I don't want to say for certain, but it's quite possible that those aren't derived from an actual series.

That's what I actually thought, but the source art is slightly different (colors and such), and checking the CG album of GIFT doesn't lead to such picture either
