I was looking at all the all the console and RPG game threads here and decided to break the cycle

Anyways,I just finished playing it and it's a very good demo.They uber-polished the thing compared to the demo,from icons to the strategic points.

There are no relics though so no cool relic units,and you can only play as Space Marines,which sucks but oh well

Demo is 319 mb.

Hey Entropy...sorry I disappeared there...Yeah the demo's really good...Everyone should at least try it, a taste of the great job they did realizing the warhammer 40k universe. If you've been disappointed before (like all of us) with other warhammer games, prepare to be pleased for once.

Heh, seriously I prefer the Eldars, you mon-keis.

Seeing some of the shots and mechanisms, they did go with a hit-point, random damage, die only when you have 0 hit points system ala Warcraft series.

A bit disappointing considering that in WH40K, you can be near practically invulnerable (damn beakies) or killed in one shot most of the time (if it hits and penetrates). However it might have been necessary to do that for the RTS.

Yeah putting in wounds the like would have been hard to do in an RTS,not to mention it would have pissed off the MP people
