Ahoy there mateys! It's been a while since the last time I've created the thread for Bleach. The awesome mod Pelli very generously filled in for me during my lack of activity in this forum no matter how much he hates shounen-filler. Are we still in filler?

According to the title of this episode posted in AniDB, seems to indicate the anime-original material is over, and the show seems to be ready to get back to the manga material. Correct me if I'm wrong.

And finally, this episode discussion thread is dedicated to the birthday boy, Shay. The man is growing old too quick!

Mostly a setup episode for the upcoming fights but it was good nonetheless.
-New arrancar faces including the androgynous Luppi new No. 6 and mentally challenged Magellan.
-I thought the Fist of the North Star reference could have been done better but that's how it was in the manga so oh well.
-Aizen tells Ulquiorra to go ahead with the plan they talked about and take whoever he wants
-Grimmjow and Ichigo face off that arm line is still awesome as ever
-Anyway episode ends with Urahara telling Renji and Chad to stay behind because he'll go instead.

Episode covered vol 26 229-230 or so since some stuff was shifted around.

Episode by <censored> is out. The episode was OK, not that much action, some repeat animation, lots of talk, you know. But it was a million times better than fillers though This episode felt more of a gateway to open to the next (couple) episode(s) of fighting than an actual normal episode though.

i thought the same but it was evry informative... cant wait for next ep. i kinda feel bad for grimjaw about the whole esparda thing. (idont think thats a spoiler)

enjoyable episode. back to what i have been wanting to see. its the first time since the soccer episode that i've made it longer than 5 mins. in.

though i must say that the animation in this made everybody look chinny. dont know why but even inoue had a huge chin at times. weird.

overall i'd say things are back on track. i actually WANT to see the next episode. yay

Ha, yeah, I understand. This afternoon I went to eclipse's website, and viola(sp?), episode 22 was there, I was extatic, then I went to <censored>'s website, and was like "Please bleach be out and make my day, LOTS OF ACTION, BLOOD!!!!!". But meh, it wasn't even out.

Anyhow, grimjow/grimjaw/whatever's situation was pretty sad, I mean the way aizen talked to him...... Embarrasing. Atleast he didn't lose his dominant arm like clare XD

woot! its back in the flow of things now. cant wait for the next few episodes. anyone else think that the voice actor for luppi really nailed the androgynous factor well? i sure did but....

Pretty much a set-up episode so not much to talk about there. Get Inoue training of course with Rukia and working on boosting her abilities which is important of course.

Seems though everyone is doing their best to get stronger quick with the situation getting serious. Ichigo though only has around 10 seconds of his hollow transformation which is just not enough right now. Working on bankai in the real world, though it seems there are some personality issues to be worked through there . Thankfully it seems the limiter release won't be an issue this time, which is huge with the opponents being Espada. Definitely won't be easy at all.

Plus couldn't help thinking when they had the "One thing Grimmjow..." was really expecting hte seriousness to be dropped. Instead throwing in Ichigo laughing at Grimmjow missing an arm. Maybe it's because it is late over here and I snapped .

Can't wait for next week. The fights are looking like they'll be good.

Okay, I was extremely grossed out by Hiyori's language. Why does that not effect my Hiyori fan status in the least though?
