^ it's not a surprise. It's just more of a disappointment than anything, really.

Well it DOES prove that Aizen can not go up against a handful of Captains without his precious illusion zanpakuto. He's NOT invincible.

That is only better is it not? I mean the captains do not fear him or his power, they are only really worried of his illusion ability, hence Ichigo.

Thanks to the big bold red letters Zu Ra was kind enough to include (along with the early spoilers), I'm forced to take the spoilers with a grain of salt for now. Should this all turn out to be true, I'll be having plenty of mixed feelings -- which isn't all bad I suppose.

how does it prove anything? as far as I understand the spoiler he still de-patched Komamura, Love, Rose and Lisa without any trickery

Honestly, before this fight even started, the captains said that there's no way they could even fight Aizen because of Kyouka Suigetsu. Yet they still fought him, so I thought maybe they didn't tell us everything, but now it just seems as if they'd all be plain stupid. But then again, they would probably prefer dying in a futile battle over fleeing from an enemy.
