By the way since I can't use the Romance thread anymore I would like to make one more point why Shirley was integral and it couldn't have been anyone with just a pink folded up crane. Lelouch's wish, to "return to Ashford with everyone and watch fireworks next time", stems directly from Shirley's own wish, which she placed in a blue crane, to watch the fireworks with everyone. Lelouch takes Shirley's wish as his own in Turn 7 of R2. This is the first glimmer of Lelouch's new idea that "everyone strives for happiness" and "I want a tomorrow". Thus it wasn't just the crane the sealed the deal it was essentially Shirley. So did Kallen really convince him or was it Shirley?

I swear. I... swear he's a tard. I could not possibly rage this much against someone who wasn't making this up as he was going along. Everything dealing with Kallen is pointless, useless or meaningless, and Shirely is the center of the damned universe. This is getting us nowhere -_-

Didn't Suzaku also talk to C.C. about destroying Lelouch's enemies and his weaknesses. That sounds like he's willing to destroy things that Lelouch cares for just to bring the completion of this plan. That just sounds rather cold and calculating.
It was Lelouch that seemed to be faltering in this plan when he knew Nunnally was alive. Suzaku doesn't seem as concerned for Nunnally.

I'm starting to have a theory that it's Suzaku who is really pushing this 'promise'. I'm wondering if he was taking advantage of Lelouch's state of mind at the time he stopped his parents plot. At the time Lelouch felt like he had nothing left to live for. Even after Suzaku realized how Euphy never revealed Zero herself(though how did he even know that Euphy knew Lelouch was Zero is a little cloudy). He still pointed his sword at Lelouch.
There is also that Animedia conversation. Where Kallen is demanding answers from Lelouch about this 'promise'. In that Anya is suppose to say something along the lines that it's Suzaku and not Lelouch. Then to go on and comment on Kallen's feelings for Lelouch.
I just don't see how C.C. can get out of this show alive and with memories. That seems like a lot to ask. If there was a way to do something like that don't you think one of the past Code holders would of figured it out? With C.C. alive and immortal at the end of the series. That would just mean she would outlive Lelouch and just go on suffering and could make more Geass users.

I would advice you to delete the posts about justifying the arguments as it may result into a ban, given what has recently been going on.
