Wow, that was a surprisingly good ending IMO.
Spoiler for finale and epic fight:
Note: I never read the manga so I have no real impressions based on the original material. I'm satisfied with this, so not likely that I ever will get a chance either. |

I enjoyed it. While I expected something else, I'm more than enough satisfied with how the show ended. However, I'm a bit disapointed the one song from the OST wasn't played and there is a piece of BGM in the last episode that wasn't included on the second OST either...
Outside of that... Spoiler:
I'll summerize my thoughts up later once I rewatch it, but I think this was a satisfying ending to the show. Sad that it seems like a bunch of people dropped off on it by the end.\ Well... Spoiler:

Spoiler for reply to the above:
It really is too bad that some people dropped it near the end, but I can understand if they had a certain image based off the manga first and that image not matching with what Bones ended up creating. Kinda glad that I didn't do so myself in that regard. |

Overall good final episode to an average but still decent shonen adventure.
Nothing out of the ordinary but still enough of a spin on it to keep things just fresh enough. Super stylish like the best episodes were. With great staging and action scenes. I can't wait to see what Director Igurashi tackles next. Chiaki Omigawa really grew as Maka and it showed in the final ep. Toshio Furikawa was SO MUCH FUN as the Kishin, especially in his manic high strung mode. Spoiler for last ep nitpicking:

Poor kishin
But then again, all the strong bad guys in anime have one common weakness, they talk too freaking much till the good guy gets a super power up and kill them. Then the bad guy dies with a smile... Spoiler for Ep 51:
To those that read the manga, is there news of the manga continuing? Or please spoil me with how the manga ended. I hope there's another movie with a new Kishin at least.
