- Encode
- Final QC
- Release

I belive we're in the Typesetting phase right now, although i've been asked to look at a sign for ming/mier, it's nasty to do with .ass, so we might go to AFX.

Could be out anytime between Saturday and next Saturday, but I wouldn't expect it any time before the weekend unless we get really lucky.

It was pretty meh to be completely honest. Part of it I can easily blame on being a movie and not having that sense of time that the anime series does.

But the other part that really put me off was the whole risa going crazy for the teacher...It just felt completely at odds with the risa ive come to know through the anime. *shrug*

Overall Otani and risa looked cute together but the rest was mostly by the numbers romance comedy stuff.

One last thing that stood out to me...Do japanese high schoolers really dress like that?

Yeah, people in Japan *do* dress like that, especially depending where you live.

I rather liked the live action! I just really really wish I'd read the entire manga FIRST, before I saw the movie, because now Maity is just ruined for me forever. He will forever be the ridiculous YOROSHI QUEEN in my mind, instead of the cool attractive teacher. Plus I didn't find movie-Maity to be very attractive at all.

Excited to see him animated!

If you watch doramas and teen movies - you'll see alot more of this horribly warped fashion sense. I dont think there is anyone who was NOT surprised the first time he saw something like that...

Well officially, Im not really communicating on behalf of the whole group. I didn't really get 'permission' or whatever.

I'm an anime enthusist too, so I know it's a royal pain just sitting around waiting for the next episode, especially when release day can vary.

I just provide enough info to calm the masses without painting the group into a corner. Thankfully the fanbase for romance anime are much more mature than say... Naruto / Bleach / Etc... So you guys understand when real life stuff happens, or just simply have delays, im much more willing to provide details to a mature group.

As for LC13, I believe it's gone to encoding, but our encoder is in europe, so depending on the timing of everything, and assuming it passes QC, you could be seeing LC13 fairly soon.

I have to say I'm really surprised I like this series as much as I do. I really don't like romance anime, so this is a huge departure for me. Very curious as to how it's going to end.

Dressing like this in japan?! Whoaaa that would be hilarious for me to watch... Now that you mention it...youtube huh?Interesting. I'll check it out. I thought that they were dressed like this in the movie so they would like cartoons or very omical, sth like that. But in total I prefer boy's fashion than girl's in the movie. i mean Otani seemed much cooler with his clothes than Risa...She seemed like some kind of an eccentric comedian. YOROSHI QUEEN..., soooo lame... hahaha lol

Yea aside from rather odd english T-shirts I didnt mind the guys fashion, but the girls looked like a very warped version of something from the 80's.

Maity I actually liked it was just risa following after him like a puppy wierded me out.

Hahah, I agree that the Maity in the manga is much "cooler," but YOROSHI QUEEN!!! still is funny every time I watch it....

Haruka's face on that top middle picture is just priceless.

The ED looks really nice though. The one now I just skip since its basically nothing, but I might end up actually watching that one since it has a nice "painted" look to it.

I have to say as a foreigner living in Japan that the fashion is awful. I hate the retro 80's things that the girls wear and the boys can be quite bad. The fashion at the moment is a layered loose top, over leggings, sometimes jeans. The young fashion victim men wear too much make-up and mousse, tight jeans and pointy shoes.

Anyway the fashion is Love*Com is quite good to some of the outfits I've seen. I quite like some of Risa's outfits they seem quite normal to me.

It's quite a harsh blow that Risa gets, again Otani didn't mean to hurt her but he did seem to fall on her instead of kiss her. I can't wait till episode 14 when we get some Maity magic. It should be good and the previews for 14 it seemed that he is just as handsome as his manga self.

After Koizumi's first kiss being forgotten by this imbecile, she goes off the deep end playing dating sims and falling in love with one of the characters which scares her family. Anyway new OP is nice I liked the other one but this one could grow on me. The new ED is definitely an improvement over the old one though. New term which means new teachers like the English teacher Maitake who resembles Koizumi's ideal guy. Pretty awesome episode especially near the end with emotions running high after Ohtani's denseness pushes her over the edge forcing a kiss this time so he remembers it and her declaring that she gives on him as she runs past Maitake crying. Preview for next one looks like things will be heating up between Maitake and Ohtani.

I didn't think the live action movie was supposed to be taken completely seriously; it seemed to be more of an add-on to the manga and anime, just for fun. (And IMO, it really was fun to watch.)
