One my time favorites Elfen Lied but its extremely gory it'll be more than vomiting blood.....(heads fly off and arms,torso's) you get the idea though the stroy line is great and it also contains nudity *NOT FOR THE WEAK MINDED*

I really don't like when people think of Elfen Lied as a bloody anime that gives people nightmares and has no plot. People who think this probably saw one of those bloody AMVs (which for some reason likes to put all of Elfen Lied's dismembering moments together for the...pleasure of the audience?) so that is why I've tried to make some non-violent Elfen Lied AMVs. Please, give this anime a chance. It's much more than that.

I agree that Elfen Lied is a good anime, but I also think that a lot of the violence and nudity felt excessive and a bit gratuitous. But still, it's an anime you should watch.
