Well KH and FF definitely hold my favorite Cutscenes ever. Let's see if I can pick some out...

Aeries Death-Though I was young when I played this, around 11-12, it still hit me as a huge shocker that a main character, and someone I thought would be there at the end would just be killed off so fast =(

FF7 Intro- I just absolutely loved it =)

FF8 Ballroom Dance-This is probably my most favorite cutscene I have seen, makes me happy every time.

FF8 Ending scenes-Though I never wanted it to end, I thought they did it amazingly.

FF8 Irvine's Intro-always loved this, showed him as a cool collected guy.

FF8 IntroThe moment I saw this intro I bought FF8 with no questions asked.

FF8 When Rinoa was in space-Very touching sequence.

FF8 Squall frees Rinoa from the lab-It was a touching moment when they hugged as she came out of the chamber.

Ah I could go on forever. I'll just stop now, but you can tell I love the FF series, every FF has a ton of scenes I just love.

FF9 - the scene where Garnet's mother( the queen that i forgot the name) summon Bahamut to attack Kuja

Metal Gear Solid 3 - all the scenes that The Boss were in!!!

Devil May Cry 3 - all the action ones

Chrono Cross - when the six dragons became Lavos first form

Makai Kingdom - when you will fight Valvoga(MICKY!!! ), and the "Zetta Beam"!!!

Suikoden 2 - the surprise attack to the surprise attack of Luca Blight!!!

FF6 - when Edgar and Locke talk about Terra being capable of using magic

Legend of Mana - the ending of the Jumi quest

Front Mission 3 - the midas explosion

Einhander - all of them!!!

Oh, I just played Jade Empire, a rather mediocre game compared to Bioware's last games, but it had some neato cutscenes. My favourite would be the one where Death's Hand attacks you. It succeeded in invoking fear in me, all I could think of was "Holy shit, hopefully I won't have to fight this guy."

Let's see. As a person big on storyline and sequences that get me out of my seat, there have been quite a few.

WC3 ending was like Jaden said, a big one for me. For that matter, every cutscene that Blizzard has come out with for any games have always been a big thing for me. Even the "trailers". If I was someone unknown to the SC series, the SCII trailer would have hooked me either way. I absolutely loved the SCII trailer, the WoW BC trailer as well. Always been a long-standing Blizzard fan, even if they like to hold out on the good stuff for years at a time.

Final Fantasy series is also a big kicker. The scene from FFX where Tidus and Yuna kiss was probably the first ever game scene that brough a tear to my eye, although since then I've seen lots better.

For the life of me I can't remember any others, although there are. But if you really want to talk turkey, give me the new Transformers trailer and Gloden Compass trailer.

When Ryo decided to live with his biological mother at the end of Ayame's path.Of course,Ayame was heartbroken to hear that.She confess all of her feelings to Ryo.She also tells that she loves Ryo more than just a brother,although she knew it was immoral.After that,Ryo confronts two choices which will change his life forever.He either can severe the brother-sister bond with Ayame or keep it strong,like all siblings should.

The Blizzard cutscenes pretty much rock, little argument there (whether its Warcraft, Starcraft, or Diablo series).

Other awesome cutscenes:

Freespace 2: Game intro, GTD Bastion jump node cutscene and the Capella system supernova scene.

Freelancer: Game Intro.

Command and Conquer series: most of the ones that involved combat (Tiberium universe as well as Red Alert)

To be honest, most FF cutscenes are imba, so i can't really pick favorites

All those interactive cutscenes in RE4 was cool too, either you had good reflexes, or you had to watch Leon die a horrible, gory death :3

Diablo 2 cutscenes brought out the devil in me!

But my most favorite cutscene of all time, excluding all the fighting cutscenes and romance cutscenes, it must be in Devil May Cry 3, when Dante apporoaches Agni and Rudra, I had such a good laugh when i saw that

"Brother, it appears our guest is...sighing"

Galaxy Angel: Moonlit Lovers, Ranpha's Route - When Ranpha goes love-love on Takuto when Takuto dresses himself in a bannered "I love you!" outfit with the pair-look shirt Ranpha got him, intentionally making himself look ridiculous to show how far he's willing to go for Ranpha. The left screenshot in my sig pic is also part of that aftermath.


Galaxy Angel II: Zettai Ryouiki no Tobira - When Ranpha and Takuto meet up in chapter 5 if you chose Ranpha as Takuto's Angel back in chapter 1. Better to see it than hear about it, so here :
