Yes the game is optimized for quadcore and Dx10 but a C2D will play it well

There are no official specs yet. I've seen estimates and they're not as high as I thought they'd be, and I hear that the engine will be very scalable.

A decent C2D with 2gb RAM and 7900GS or X1950Pro I think will play the game well at medium setings
