**** I just discovered something about Irene in the manga, which is different from the anime. It could be minor... In the Marked for Death arc (manga), Irene actually has NORMAL EARS ( as evidence from pages 10 -16) , especially when she first walks into the town. As the battle wears on with Teresa, it's like she "grew" elf ears. Unlike Ophelia who is introduced in both versions with elf ears...I don't have a question here...just adding some info to make up an answer. But here's A question... why are Claymore's in the # 4 position CRAZY or mentally unstable like Ophelia and Spoiler for the "other" mental # 4:

This anime is surprisingly good. A strange mix of evangelion, berserk and... sailor moon
How good is the manga after the 26th episode ? Am I the only one having a hard time recognizing faces and remembering names ?

Question from an anime only watcher. How much has the anime deviated from the manga, and around what chapter does the latest anime episode correspond to? I've been wanting to get into the manga for a while now since the series is almost over.

Just to emphasize what Seska already pointed out - this thread is for relevant Claymore Questions & Answers, not a place for random chit-chat. One should only post here if he has a (meaningful)question about Claymore, and one should answer with cold, hard facts. Everything else is off-topic and is going to get deleted.

Just asking...why did Jean use her "drill technique" against Rigald instead of the other "helicopter blade" technique to get rid of Rigald? The "helicopter blade" technique cover most of her body and would've damaged Rigald instead of the straight on "drill attack" vs Rigald. Silly girl.

Is Galatea's ability to affect Yoki learn able? I have been thinking, because Clare seemed to use it on Jean like right after and i saw one of those male AB's use it so i am wondering if any claymore can simply just effectively develop it over time.
