While I write out the time line for the next part of Minea's diaries, this week I will be giving extended profiles of characters, introducing new characters for upcoming stories, and seeking out pictures for my characters. The character today, Felicia Lauren, comes originally from another story that I had in the works (None Nanoha Story). When that character was revamped, I kept the idea of the character but didn't put it to any use until now. More information on hobbies, quotes, and her device will be coming up later this week.

Description: Felicia is rarely seen never being in fashion or the most expensive dress clothing. Business wear, tuxedos, Chinese dresses, kimonos, swim swear, she has everything that one person could possibly dream of to wear for any occasion. Milky skin, soft to the touch, long, crimson ruby hair kept to her waist, and bewitching eyes give her an impression of maturity, intelligence, and wealth.

History: Felicia hails from a wealthy aristocrat family of land owners, energy sellers, and Legal Logia merchants. Since birth Felicia ate with a silver spoon and had servants tending to her every need and whim. With the passing of her father, her mother dying from child birth, she inherited everything that her Father’s Financial Empire had built. Taught in the best schools, she learned everything there needed to know about the business world; but when she turned 8 she made a decision on her own.

Felicia had crafted for her a special device she had dreamed up. The design would be in the shape of an Earth Samurai sword hilt, with a detachable blade. Hiring tutors from all over, she quickly learned and adapted to various fighting techniques and magic usage just for the enjoyment of knowing it.

For every great mind, there is usually some flaw that might make one wonder about them. For Felicia, that flaw is her maid staff. Twenty four women, all but one younger then Felicia, all serving her every whim and acting as her body guards. Many have questioned why she wanted 24 female maids and no males… Until they saw her Lady Killer personality at work at Balls or other events.

The 24 Maids

To Felicia, each of the maids are unique. Gathered from different planets, and worlds, their personalities may be similar in some ways, but their individual beauties is what brought her to gather them. Not don’t misunderstand, she didn’t buy or blackmail any of them to serve her (Maybe two are in debt to her but that’s besides the point), all but 6 are there due to their love for her. Felicia seduced each and every one of the 18 whom were not here due to special circumstances. 3 of the maids are there because their ages are five, six, and nine. Why are they working as maids? Felicia found them and wishes to give them a better life; attending school, given small chores, and room and board. Two are there due to sizeable debts that Felicia had paid for to keep them from doing OOO or XXX or YYY in exchange to pay for the money they were either forced to repay or built up on their own. The last one is the head maid, of course, one that even Felicia fears.

He does not want to die. He won't accept death until his job is fulfilled. No matter what hell he's given, and so far its plenty, he won't stop until his job is done. He can die, he most certainly will die, but as long as he has breath in his lungs, he will cling on to his goal till...well, till he's done and dusted. "Ashes to ashes", so to speak. He will give Scaglietti hell, he will give the Numbers hell, and that is what he will do.

This isn't H4xx, as some of you might thing. V has his convictions, his desires, and he seeks to fulfill them no matter what the cost.

Yeesh… It’s easy to think up actions and catchphrases while watching the RAW’s, but actually writing down the parts where there is a lot of talking becomes difficult when you only understand about a third that’s being said. With the forwards in the heli and Rein and Signum underway, Hayate turned to the remaining members of RF6. “Now it’s time for the Captains to move out!”

A chorus of agreements rang from the four Captains and Yui, and a hatch opened beneath the ship, allowing the six to sortie. All of the Captains felt the rush of previously sealed power return as Carim released their limiters, and they zoomed off towards their target. Nanoha stopped only for a moment to activate Exceed Mode, Keroko followed suit.

“Lancer Shifto!”

[Activating] The blades that made up Artherion’s Firing Mode drew closer to the core, docking with it completely. The two coolers grew smaller in size and retracted to stay out of the way. Finally, a scarlet red blade of energy sprung forth from the gap that remained at the tip of Artherion. Finishing Artherion’s shift, Keroko rejoined Nanoha moments before Fate arrived.

“Nanoha?”

Nanoha turned to her friend. “Fate-chan?”

“Nanoha and Raising Heart’s Limit Break, Blaster Mode. ‘it’s dangerous, so please don’t use it’ is what I would like to say, but… please don’t overdo it.”

“I’m more worried about Fate-chan. Fate-chan and Bardiche’s Limit Break puts a great pressure on you, doesn’t it?”

“I’m fine, don’t worry.”

Nanoha sighed. “Mou, Fate-chan is as stubborn as ever.”

“Da ne?” Keroko replied.

Fate blushed. “N-Nanoha too, always getting into danger. And Keroko is the one we worry about the most.”

“-Giku-”

Two pairs of concerned eyes now settled on the red-haired mage to Nanoha’s right.

“Keroko-chan, you’ve never really learned to take care of your body, have you?”

“I-it’s not that bad.” Keroko replied nervously.

“Honto? How often have you landed in the hospital?”

Keroko lowered her head in defeat. “Three times.”

“Desho? Ethereal Mode was wreaking havoc with your body, and now Keroko and Artherion’s Limit Break, Repeater Mode and that effect…”

Keroko sighed. “I Can’t use Ethereal Mode because of the physical stress, I can’t use Repeater Mode either… You’re making this impossible for me, aren’t you?”

“Uhn. Demo, that’s what you do best, ne?”

Keroko smiled “Sou da ne?”

“We are Air Mages after all; danger is part of the job.”

“That’s why I’m telling you you’re overdoing it! I- we are always worrying about you.”

“I know.” Nanoha interrupted. “That you’re always worried, I know that very well. So let’s all go home together. We’ll bring Vivio back, and we’ll all go home together.”

The trio smiled at each other before Hayate called Fate’s attention. With a last goodbye Fate split of from the rest and Nanoha sped up the gear for the rest of the group.

They were going to get Vivio, and they weren’t planning to fail.

“The first line is in sight!” Hayate said.

“Quite a lot of them.” Vita muttered.

“Good.” Keroko said as she glared at the enormous ship. “Because I have some pent up rage.”

Hayate nodded at Keroko. “All units, this is RF6! We are entering the battlefield!”

Keroko narrowed her eyes as the first line of drones came into view. She tightened her grip on Artherion, a an empty cartridge was ejected as spheres of magic began to materialize around her. First 12, then 24, then 40, until 50 spheres accompanied her flight. “Matomete…” she growled as raised Artherion over her left shoulder “UCHIOTOSU!”

As she swung Artherion , the shots launched forward at their targets, not all at once, but rather one at a time, sometimes two or three at once with the next following only moments after the other. Explosions filled the sky as scores of drones were hit, burning wreckage falling to the ground. Much time to reassess the situation, they did not get, as beams of pink red and white blew through the cloud of burning wreckage, causing more drones to fall.

Keroko burst forth from the new cloud of smoke, six type-3 drones veered of from their previous targets to meet this incoming threat. Keroko made a fast climb, before dropping down in a strafing run at the drones. Snipe Shooters flared through the formation of drones, hitting and destroying four, but missing the last two, who broke formation.

Graff Eisen took care of those two.

Keroko offered the drones no respite as she immediately continued her dive to a large type-2. She crashed into the large drone point-first, tearing through the metal before jerking Artherion side wards, splitting the drone in half. Three type-1 drones approached the seemingly unsuspecting Keroko from behind, one of the clerks at the scene tried to shout a warning, but before he could three spheres of magic appeared behind Keroko’s back and struck the drones dead-center.

“S-sugoi.” The clerk muttered. “She saw those drones coming?”

“Ie, she felt them.” His comrade said.

“What do you mean?”

“Battle sense, the ability to feel where your opponents are, where their attacks will come, where they will go. And to react before your mind even realizes the threat. It’s usually an ability garnered by veterans of war. I never thought I’d see it in action.”

“Just who is she really?”

“S-rank mage, and a master of multi-target attacks. The bureau’s Supreme Air Force Interceptor. Deathwing Keroko.

The part inside will come later, right now it's time to watch 22!

The "Matomete Uchiotosu" part was inspired by Vita from episode 7, and should mean something like "Shoot them all down!"

Mabiko: !!! ...Anata wa...Maouko?! (You are...Maouko?!)

[Music track loaded, Dark Prison]

As if descending from the proverbial heavens, a fully armored Maouko came down, floating face to face with Mabiko, Maouko licking her lips as Mabiko warily slid into a fighting stance while activating all her armaments.

Maouko: Sou yo, oneechan. Atashi wa anata no hanshin, ano mission kara ne... (That's right, big sis. I'm your other half, ever since that mission...)

Mabiko: Naze, ima made minna ni meiwaku wo kaketa ka? (Why have you troubled everyone up to this point?)

Maouko: Sou ne...date, karakau wa tanoshii yo, toku ni Vinson-kun no hannou ne...(Hmm...I guess that it's fun to mess with them, especially Vinson-kun's reaction, yes...)

Mabiko: Naraba, kienasai yo, Maouko. Anata no sonzai wa ima no toki de wa totemo fuan no insu da. (Then disappear, Maouko. Your existence is a very unstable factor during this time.)

Maouko: Iie, kiemasen yo, Mabiko-neechan. Date, atashi to anata honrai wa hitotsu no sonzai. Atashi wa anata...soshite, anata wa atashi. (No, I won't disappear, big sis Mabiko. Besides, you and I originally were a single existence. I am you...and you are me.)

Mabiko: Uso da! Atashi wa atashi da! Omae nanka janai! (Lies! I am me. I will never be the likes of you!)

Mabiko seemed to loose her cool as she drew Murakumo and aimed for the kill. However, Maouko seemed to materialize a single blade in her hand and blocked the blow. To Mabiko's surprise, she recognized the blade, as well as the 2nd blade that Maouko grasped in her other hand.

Mabiko: Masamune...sore ni...Muramasa... Anta, douyate kono ken wo te ni iretanda. (Masamune and Muramasa as well...You! How'd you get your hands on these swords!)

Maouko: Itta deshou...wareware wa otagai no hanshin da. Anata wa Murakumo to Kusanagi no mochinushi naraba, touzen atashi mo futatsu no tsurugi wo motteiru. (Didn't I say? We're halves of each other. If you hold Murakumo and Kusanagi, then I would also hold two blades as well)

Maouko parries and forces Mabiko away.

Mabiko: Atashi wa...konna koto wo...MITOMENAI! (I will never...accept this...truth!)

Maouko: Ato mou hitotsu no koto oshiete ageru... (Also, I'll tell you about one more thing...)

Mabiko: DAMARE!!! (SHUT IT!!!)

Mabiko swung at Maouko once more, this time grazing Maouko's cheek and drawing blood. However, to Mabiko's suprise, the same graze appeared on her own.

Maouko: Sou...otagai ni kizutsukeba jibun no karada mo kizutsukeru...(That's right, if we hurt each other, we hurt our own bodies as well.)

Mabiko: ...Sore ga atashi-tachi no kizuna ka...shinjitsu wo ie. Anata hontou ni itsukara sonzai shitanda. (So that's our bond...tell me the truth. When did you really begin existing?)

Maouko: Ara, surudoi ne... Jitsu wa, anata no karada ga kaizou sareta toki kara da. (My, my, aren't you sharp? The truth is, I have existed ever since your body was altered.)

Mabiko: kuso... (damn...)

Maouko: Sa...dousuru tsumori... (So...what are you going to do?)

Geez, scenarios grow in my mind as I keep writing.

I originally meant for this to be a single post.

Seems like Maouko is more troublesome than I thought.

At first I wanted to have Shani fight Keroko...but with the battle sense thing... I think you should fight Clotho instead.

Here's a scenario proposal for you:

1. Right after this, one of the Druggies intercepts Nanoha, Vita and Keroko, and gives them hell.
2. Keroko tells Nanoha and Vita to go ahead and enter the Cradle, and that she will take care of Clotho and join them soon. Nanoha worried, Keroko being Keroko, etc.
3. Possibility of Keroko using full power to beat Clotho, so she can catch up with Nanoha. If in canon Nanoha is in trouble at any one point, it will fit perfectly.

Your thoughts?

We could also make it that this is not Keroko's first time against him, to make it better.

One of the other Druggies will be with Scaglietti, and the other probably near the Cradle as well, but assigned to handling the Niddhogg's threat.

Just proposing ideas.

BTW, where will Tesla be in all this mess?

Hmm, we could probably assign Tesla to intercept Niddhogg too. Though I shall read the backlog first before proposing ideas As I see it we can have Blades/Weavers enter the ship while Tesla ends up confronting the Druggy outside with both of them remaining the targets for the ship's cannons

Just finished watching 22, and if anyone needs a visualisation of Keroko's Executor Rush, just visualize Nanoha's rush in the corridors during the last few minutes of the episode minus the wings. Spies, I tell you!

I think you're overestimating the value of battle sense a bit. It's not as if she sees the future, battle sense is actually a real life skill, though not called as such. Veteran pilots, for example, learn how to fly and how their oponents fly. They can judge by the way airplanes move what their tactics are and where they are going to move, they're more like guesswork in reallity. Keroko's battlesense is just a bit more dramatisized. She can't really sense the drones, but she just knows instinctively where they are.

Though as not to destroy the beauty of the fight, Keroko could still give Clotho hell, Every time he thinks he has her in his visions, she changes actions reflexively, throwing him off course.

Just how reliant is he on that abillity anyway?

Nanoha and Fate glared at the unknown intruder before them, having Raging Heart and Bardiche at the ready, respectively. The eccentric-looking character before them averted his eyes from Hayate, sheathed his knives and stepped forward.

On this most coincidental of morns, permit me, in lieu of the more usual soubriquet, to suggest the identity of that dramatis persona..."

He paused, then, with a motion of his arms, performed a sweeping motion, his cloak billowing.

"Voila!", he shouted. "In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, the vocal vessel of the voices of those affected by the virulent acts of one man, who, in reply, procures false vindications to veil his doings."

"However"...ignoring the utterly befuddled look at the three onlookers were giving him, he continued his grand speech. "This valorous visitation to those who dish out verdicts against those who seek to do malpractices stands vivified," he carried on, his tone rising with every word, his voice stern and clear, "and they, along with I myself, have vowed to vanquish this venal, verminous man who vanguards vice and continuously vouchsafes the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition!"

I think you're overestimating the value of battle sense a bit. It's not as if she sees the future, battle sense is actually a real life skill, though not called as such. Veteran pilots, for example, learn how to fly and how their oponents fly. They can judge by the way airplanes move what their tactics are and where they are going to move, they're more like guesswork in reallity. Keroko's battlesense is just a bit more dramatisized. She can't really sense the drones, but she just knows instinctively where they are.

Though as not to destroy the beauty of the fight, Keroko could still give Clotho hell, Every time he thinks he has her in his visions, she changes actions reflexively, throwing him off course.

Just how reliant is he on that abillity anyway?

As explained in the profile, basically the ability to see up to 2 seconds into the future is rather reliable, as he is not "activating" his Relic much. However, if he tries to predict more (and he will, since Keroko will be messing his plans up), he will start to lose control over his powers.

I am thankful for some of my "thieving" scenes...to be personal, I would rather label them as scenes derived from certain scenes, not full thievery, really, but that's for you to judge ()...now that I look back, only a very small number are present- the two scenes deriving from the V vs. Creedy scene in Victoria Station, both of which I'm proud of, especially the latter one, what with V going all-out on the Numbers and Letters, and the speech bit. And the sparring. All of them have been good scenes- and, to be truthful, I shall use them for the finished work.

Huge flashes and explosions light up a distant, but not terribly far off sky as the OC/CC army descends upon the villains.

“Wow, they’re really going at it.” Alan remarked in awe of the ludicrous displays of overkill playing out before them.

“Yep.” Pixy deadpanned.

“Sort of reminds me of the good old days back in Usito…” Cipher remarked somewhat fondly.

“The good old days sucked.” Felix snorted his derisive response rubbing his flank a bit on instinct.

“Shouldn’t we be I don’t know helping?” Alan grumbled.

“We aren’t getting paid nearly enough to deal with this crap.” Felix replied dismissively.

“Why is everything about money with you guys?” Alan huffed.

The three men stared at him pointedly.

“We’re mercenaries! It’s always about the money.” Pixy remarked as if it was blatantly obvious.

“Anyway I like some beer with my fireworks, you guys?” Felix asked casually changing the subject.

“Sure, but I’m not paying.” Cipher shot back.

“Who said anything about paying for it?” Felix remarked eyeing a nearby convenience store whose staff and occupants had long since fled the area.

Alan shrunk down and sighed, these guys made it awfully hard to be a hero of justice…
