I'm really anticipating the movie... Senna (if I got it right, that's the female shinigami name) looks pretty cute! ^^ Really cute actually! And from what I saw in the few openings/endings during the Bounto arc, this looks somewhat interesting!

That was the older version which was released it came out in Jan and well its quality sucked as you said . Now that dvd is out we can rely on quality

The DVD version is out I believe, I already watched it. While the movie seems to be a 4-5 episode filler arc, the animation and plot seems pretty good (and it's even better when you get to see what Rukia's shikai form looks like (In the manga, it wasn't shown until the Hueco Mundo Arc).

At the end of the movie, Senna was asking Ichigo if her name was written on her grave. I am not too sure where it is written on the gravestone, since Ichigo said that her name was on it...or was it out of kindness that Ichigo said her name had been engraved on it?

Edit: Oh yes, and at the very end, after the credits:

Why did Senna appear again? She could be a look-alike, but that would be sort of stupid to put for an epilogue. Any explanations?

Yea, she didn't exist.

The biggest clue was how her memories conflicted with one another, and her image of father kept changing.

On the Tombstone, the names written were:

佐藤 一夫 (Satou Kazuo?)
佐藤 学 (Satou Manabu?)

As for her 'reappearance', I think they're trying to imply she's back in the cycle of rinne (Death and Rebirth). That's probably what ichigo would be happy knowing

It was an alright movie... Highlights were

Spoiler for movie spoilers:

Urahara's drawings being on par with Rukia's (Is it a Shinigami Trait?)

Byakuya stalking Rukia to Dangai to look after her (I rofled when I saw the pink petals appear out of nowhere)

and @ strike101 : The movie aired before the Arrancar arc. I would say that's why Rukia's shikai is worth mentioning

If she didn't exist, then what is she? I mean, she seems to have shinigami powers, so that should say something. Also, I am not sure what the Lost Ones say who she really is. What is Senna really, anyway?
