Which of the 3 sannins is strongest?

I don't think you can completely judge there actual strength based on that three way fight they had. Remember, these three know each other very very well almost like brothers and sisters. Any preconceived notion of strength pretty much goes out the window when you know someone that well.

It's a toss up between Jiraiya and Oro as the strongest, but from what we've seen so far Tsunade is the weakest.

Tsunade may have mad power but the way she just chased oro and kabuto around using bad tai jutsu was pathetic. Tsunade doesn't have very good skills from what I've seen.

Jokes aside, I think Jiriaya, theres got to be a reason his fighting styles have never been shown completely. He always drugged or we just dont see it.

Sasuke himself admitted himself he fought against a strongly weakened Orochimaro after the fight with Deidra. That fight has almost no credibility in strength measure.

I the end I think Jiraiya wins the most. Especially with the enemy match ups we are getting now.

I think orochimaru is actually not that strong. Like Naraku in Inuyasha, he SORT of acts like a coward and never really is in the main action in episodes.

In Episode 171 he was a real coward for using humans for experiments in the Ocean Country long ago and Isarabi was one of the prototypes. Though that cookoo professor had something to do with it

I probably think Jiraiya is the strongest. Agreeing with Pizzajincuuriki how they always show him drugged or hurt before he really "battles". And on earlier episodes we already saw Tsunade use pretty much her full potential on the "fake" Orochimaru. So she isn't very strong as everyone believed she was...

no offence but jiraiya is the truly strongest, sarutobi-hokage jack his arm, tsunade is medical, summon slugs and healing ninpou. jiraiya on the other hand, more taijutsu, rasengan, toad master, super-pervert, he has never shown his true strength, 1, he was drugged, 2 he was only on the verge of death two times, when tsunade caught him peeping on her, she kicked his perverted ass, and during his training in the time-skip, teaching narto more kyuubi stuff. he is also

Minato was a prodigy, that wasent the work of Jiraiya that was something he was born with. As for him being stronger then Kisame and Itachi together is just false.

Well, seeing both anime and manga, I can conclude that Jiraiya is the strongest, with Orochimaru behind him. However, I don't think that Tsunade is the weakest of the Sannins. She's got the least action out of the 3, and most of the fighting we see show only Jiraiya or Orochimaru.

Despite its obvious drawbacks, her ability to regenerate her cells at a super-high rate to heal herself is an invaluable tool while she's in the thick of combat and doesn't have the chakra needed to heal herself. I refer to the Sannin battle.

Yes, that was, in fact, what I was referring too. However, ignoring "long term" effects, it is very effective in the short term.

And, I'm not completely sure it's a spoiler, since it's one of her main techniques, but I'll leave that up to the mods to decide.
