doesn't sound unlikely. Saji seems a prime candidate for a 5th gundam pilot, why not start off by having his friends nearly killed?

GundamS has a few lines that I like the translation for more, but overall I'd say Anonymous version is much better overall. I can type up some translations of the two and the Anon version lines' make sense and just sound more natural. ESPECIALLY the song translation - Anon's translated lyrics are a lot better, IMO.

That doesn't mean the GundamS version is bad, it's just that I think the Anon version is better.

by the looks of the spoilers, it seems to me that the show is starting up with the problem of the week scenerio, which you don't see often in a Gundam show, but I think it's a good idea so that new viewers can jump right into the show without much confusion. Also they are also slowly developing the plot. In this case, it's the reaction toward Celestial Being and how they are planning to deal with it. So this is an intersting scenerio toward the opening episodes of the series.

Interesting though that Saji and Louise, citizens of the Union, are allowed to tour the Human League's Orbital Station. Makes you wonder what the scope of the war is. It's defintely not full-blown war.

The structuring of this reminds me of the beginning of FMA (or any other shounen adventure show for that matter, heck, even Gundam X)... A problem arises at a place, and the main characters go to deal with it. I guess its a good way to build an audience. As long as it doesn't take them too long to build the main plot.

I'm very interested in the ethnic conflict, since Setsuna is a Kurdish (according to his biography). I wonder how Gundam 00 will put a spotlight on the conflict.

The OP/ED, IMO, are very different from the usual Gundam-vibed theme songs (*coughseedanddestinycough*), but they're quite good since one of the performing bands is L'Arc en Ciel.

Looking forward to watch this show (and more Lockon/Dynames, please. )

IIRC Tierias age hasn't been revealed yet right?, after seeing him in the first ep floting in that strange room i can't shake the feeling he aint human ,maybe a robot of some kind?(i know its a silly idea) what do you guys think?

Graham... for some reasons I think he will grow to be a very cool character in the near future.

One thing that strike me as odd is that Marina who got so much screen time in the opening is not mentioned at all in the spoilers...

Still no mention of any guy in mask... does this mean we won't get a guy in a mask for once?!

It seems that AEU won't be appearing much, I actually wanted to see more of that Patrick guy. And AEU feels a lot weaker comparing to Union or HRL after the first episode and looking at the spoiler. I also really want to see that girl in action soon and she better have her own custom Tieren or something.

If this trailer from a while back is any indication, at least Graham in his Union Flag can actually fight the Exia on equal terms. And I don't think Graham's MS is "3x faster" so to speak.

Sadly, that's quite true...
They don't have a complete space elevator, and neither do they have a decent line of mass-produced mobile suits (until the Enact, I guess)
And they have to resort to selling MS to anonymous parties for revenue...

AEU doesn't complete its space elevator yet? I thought AEU is just the last one to complete it
