Or Shinku makes everyone serve her tea.

wow...been missing for a few days and i come back to hear some shocking news...

- so nanoha did get taken home by rena

- nagi beating konata (shock)

- shinku being tsukasa (double shock - especially looking at the graph O.O)

- rika killing murdering louise *cheers to high heavens*

lets see...

sF1 (10/31)
竜宮レナ@ひぐらしのなく頃に(Ryuuguu Rena@Higurashi no Naku Koro ni)
三千院ナギ@ハヤテのごとく!(Sanzenin Nagi@Hayate the Combat Butler)

predicting that rena will have another victim taken home...

sF2 (11/01)
古手梨花@ひぐらしのなく頃に(Furude Rika@Higurashi no Naku Koro ni)
真紅@ローゼンメイデン オーベルテューレ(Shinku@Rozen Maiden Ouverture)

though one...too close to call imo (and being a fan of "not underestimating the underdog" this could get scary) *waves feeble shinku flag*

If Rena wins, then it will be the first time a contestant with cleavage win Saimoe

If Shinku Wins then i get to hear all the whinning about the dolls again which is also good.

if Rika wins, then it is the 2nd time a Yukari Tamura character won Saimoe.

So as long as it is not Nagi who wins, I win.

Which is exactly why I don't get involved in it. The way the system is makes it more exciting, but more innacurate and pointless.

Congrats to Shinku! Congrats to the Tsukasa fans for making Shinku's fans work hard for her victory! I may not like Shinku's character, but I wish her fans the best of luck in the semifinals.

As a Higurashi fan, my love for the characters depends on which episode I'm watching. As of now its towards the Sonozaki twins, especially Shion, who
Spoiler for episode 18:
I know that Rika and Rena show their true colors towards the end. I guess I feel moe out of all the characters except for Satoko. As of now I'm supporting Rika 2nd and Rena 3rd, and for all I care there could be a Higurashi final.

Of course, as of now, Konata will always be the most moe to me, no matter what.

I merely pointed it out because it was said that Rika's behavior wasn't genuine as opposed to that of Rena. The way Rika acts is extremely similar, since she too does it in an attempt to make her friends happier but also to shield them from her personal tragedy.

It is like gambling in Las Vegas it is to have fun and not try to make money.

With Saimoe, the point is also to have fun and maybe discover a few series you overlook before.

Now the voting does get a little heated up in some matches but that is part of the fun.

Nanoha first came to my attention in 05 Saimoe as i was a Mai-Hime and Rozen fan at the time. I didn't cast any votes but i did hear of the results and wonder what the heck is this Magical Girl Nanoha who bump off Shinku.

Oh, no. I am not saying Rika is not "genuine"... In fact, Rika has a similar pull to me as Rena does, except it is not as strong. I guess it is something from the absolute voice change that lessens the effect... and that I have been delaying watching Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai after the first arc because I want to be able to marathon it.

Maybe once I watched the entire second season, I'd find Rika more moe compared to Rena and Mion (though if I have my say, she already went by Mion already since Mion gets little to no character development after the first two arcs and Meakashi).

I definitely agree with finding gems in Saimoe... after watching Lucky Star, I had been looking for a new anime to pick up... though my friends had suggested Rozen Maiden before, I never really considered watching it until I saw Saimoe 07.

Congrats Shinku & fans!

I only just noticed that Rena vs. Nagi is on Halloween...very cool.

No Shinku OR Tsukasa fans wanted my vote code yesterday, so I have to get started early this time...

WANTED: Rena voter with access to multiple IPs/computers.

This is the way I see it.

If Rena beats Nagi, Rika automatically loses. Everyone will vote against her to prevent a Higurashi final.

If Rena loses, Rika will likely win because Lucky Star supporters will be on Rika's side for revenge.

I seriously think revenge vote is a little overrated.
Just because now that Tsukasa and Konata are both out already and that L*S has no one to support, I am not quite sure if revenge voting is entirely the way out.

Despite having said that though... I am supporting Rika just because she appeals to me more than Shinku does... though Shinku came VERY, VERY close into getting my vote.

On the contrary ... Saimoe winner is the moe-est agreed by the public
Not necessarily the moe-est for you.

That's why we are voting to begin with. Tsukasa wasn't moe enough

Not necessarily... and I never said the champions have to be the moe-est for me nor did I say that I never found certain champions moe enough to be champs. I am just saying what could be the results of an involving character tournament.
