Please add me to the Rika camp as well. I'm about to go to bed soon and will be pretty busy tomorrow but I'll try and see if there's anything I can do to help her out when I have the time.

Vote counts in the prelims itself are influenced from grouping of the prelims.

EDIT: Besides, total vote counts are fairly different between weekend and weekdays.
Hence decisions are made by those who show up.

If Takako gets a bit lucky, so be it. It's better than seeing, say, Tsuruya-san fought Eri in the first round. The thing is getting the first choice of many factions late into the tournament is essential to keep people interested. While i personally love Sayuri, she's hardly the first choice of many Kanon fans, ah ha ha. From the organizers' perspective, if the climax of the show is reached too early, the support will definitely dwindle later on.

Also, if the results of the preliminaries would affect the standing of each character, i'm betting that more would vote. It's true that weekends would have a larger turn out, but the overall total votes curve (day by day) would be smoothened.

Nothing is perfect, i just think that this is a bit better than total randomness. That's my two cents.

Hohoho~

mii~

Well we have over 25 people now... Hinamizawa/Okinomiya Alliance grows stronger.

Whatever you can do to support Rika-chama is acceptable, from gathering material, 'shopping material, drawing material, gathering votes, anything.

I hope Nagi has her assets in order. She needs to buy out Rika's home too.

But yes, more Nagi supporters!

Nagi's aristocratic status will not settle down for 2nd. Not after getting this far.

Nice to see that the Nagi supporters are posting images too. I'm sure our efforts would allow those who can't decide to decide between the moe-est.
Just a comment about KyuuA4 posts; may I suggest combining your two posts so that they are not back to back?
That's all. Nice support images, everybody! (both Nagi and Rika camps ^^)

rika is the luckiest in saimoe this year. She didn't meet any real opponent and some sort of force will always help her on the tough ones. I'm going to name some.
when she met nia, gurren's not cool yet
when she met mion, it was obvious who will win
when she met sayuri, the kanon gas just ran out
when she met louise, gin fans are dying for revenge.
when she met shinku, rena fans are dying for revenge.

So much coincidence...

This must be the result of a strong will.

Is she really fighting against fate? It might be that this IS fate.

Well, those weren't the only factors in the match~ I view it more that there were challenges to overcome at each of those oponents, though true she didn't meet InstaDeath opponents early/midgame where it would have been fatal.

Please don't deprecate Rika's rush through the finals.

She did her best AND she remained in the tournament. Excuses aren't allowed anymore.

We can only say it is fate if Rika pulls off the upset against Nagi tomorrow..

"Fate can be molded and cut by a Strong Will" nanodesuyo~ If it was Fate for Rika to arrive at the Finals, it was due to a lot of Strong Determination being applied~

This is ONLY for Rika~Higurashi fans, and also for those who watched Gurren-Lagann
(the latter will understand this a LOT more)

Honestly, I don't think that everything is a coincidence. I mean, yes, Rika had her fair share of luck, but doesn't everyone who survived to the later stages have some sort of luck influence anyway? How I think of it is, there might be tactical voting involved. I'm guessing that this is a minority of the entire Rika fanbase, but this minority probably knew who to vote for at the right time in order to ensure that Rika's future opponents would be as "favorable" to her as possible. Otherwise, the probability of all this being a mere coincidence seems a bit...unrealistic. I think tactical voting may have been occuring in the other factions as well, but either their calculations were inaccurate, or the faction just can't stand solid on a single decision. These are some of my guesses as to why Rika was able to make it this far

Of course, I personally believe that she very much deserves her current standing, being very, very moe in both her appearance and nonsense words, nipaa!

I changed RIKA-LAGANN to NIPAH-LAGANN to make it more of a global name.
