Shonen
1. Vagabond: Artwork/storytelling/characters/atmosphere at its very best in the world of manga. One word "PERFECT". 2. Berserk: "EPIC". You can get so immersed in this manga youd think you were guts himself. You can feel the love the artist put into every stroke of his artwork. This is one creative piece of Manga, you realise more everytime you re-read. 3. Claymore: Epic like berserk and theres chicks with swords you actually learn to care about. 4. Hajime No ippo: The suspense never fails, great boxing manga, 5. Eden Shoujo sailor moon cardcaptor sakura 3x3 shinobuden NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!! |

Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou/Cafe Alpha - My favorite for all time. It's a classic!
Yotsubato / Yotsuba&! - A barrel of laughs! This one can be read again and again. Those neighbors are truly saints! Claymore - I'm hooked. Your mileage may vary... Angel Densetsu - I just like this one, about a guy with the face of the devil and the heart of an angel... I've looked at a bunch of others that I like, Family Compo being a nice example, but these are the ones I'll read again and again. Last edited by Goofus Maximus; 2007-10-21 at 17:09. |

I sort of browse through this whole thread and i'm so surprised i don't see anyone mentioning Suzumiya Haruhi series. Perhaps most people in this forum know Haruhi from the anime instead.
Anyway some of my favorites in no particular order. Light novels:
