Wow this got necro'd

I stopped watching the anime so I only know of Sai from the manga. Imagine Sasuke, but actually likeable and with insults that aren't spoken in the subtle Uchiha manner of insulting. I only hope he gets a fight before Naruto finishes, because all characters have to have atleast 1 fight for the sake of character justice.

Funny cause it's true. Sai is awesome. Anyone who doesn't like him either has no sence of humor, is so caught up in the motion that everyone must kiss Naruto's @$$ in order to be worthy, or is one of those bad wagon retards that only likes a character once they see a super duper jitsu or some other bs ability.

But i think that Sai looks like Sasuke a little bit... some of Sasuke actions, words, just remind you on Sai ... maybe in time Sai will warm up too as Sasuke did...? U never know

He's cool (better than Sasuke.... HATE his guts!)
I also like Sai's metrosexual way of dressing....that mid-rife tank top he wears is oddly sexy

And I LOVED him when he called Sasuke: "a gutless homo" [that pretty much sums up Sasuke right there

i dont like his character, his jokes are not funny and he was created to be a somewhat replacement for sasuke.

He's a bit irritating but I can stand him since he's going to be on the team for a while.

I have mixed feelings about Sai. I like his dry humor, even though it's not really humor. I also enjoy his cynicism even though, again, it's not cynicism. His techniques are cool; I enjoy the originality of bringing drawings to life. However, they seem...inconsistent. The snakes he created in the latest episode were supposedly "extremely strong." Yet, in his introduction, Chouji was able to destroy them with a simple Baika-punch. I'm not saying Baika isn't strong, but I doubt Chouji is as strong as Sakura, at least at this point. I dunno, I guess my feelings on Sai are kind of weird. He's annoying, but in a good kind of way.

Sai never used snakes against Chouji, he used dogs. They were probably completely different techniques.

Whether they were dogs or lions doesn't matter... For both the lions/dogs and the snakes, the technique used was the same. So then, we'd be left to assume that the animal he chooses to summon with this technique determines the strength of the technique, which I think is just stupid.
