New siggie~ Konata looked just so kawaii, I just HAD to make one of it. The sig is for Shana, it's one of her pressies from me since she's leaving AS. ;__; Anyways, opinions please. ^^ |

Very nice. In fact, I think it fits much better than my attempts. I might have made the Ocean text a little brighter, but that's personal taste. ______________________________________ I think KasumiGirl's text is fine in general. Like her latest two sigs, the text fits and looks good. I think she's just a bit hard on herself sometimes (the sign of a true artist ). A true artist is never finished with a project and never satisfied with the results. There's always something else that could be done, but you have to draw a line somewhere or you'd never move forward! Here's my guidelines for text: Does it need to be seen? If yes, then the colors and font have to stand out from the background. If not, then the sky is the limit. Geki has a really creative way of adding text as highlights which I find very cool. Myself and others tend to use text as a way of giving the image a tagline. Others try to put the text in interesting spots. Does it really need text? Not everything needs text. Some images can speak for themselves. Does the font work? Fonts make all the difference imo. The difference between fonts can be the difference between awesome and disaster. This also goes hand in hand with - Does the text fit? I've made a few sigs where I struggle with adding my name, let alone anything else. Some sigs are so crowded that text can be difficult to place, let alone look cool. Anyway, I don't proclaim to be any kind of a text master or anything silly like that. But those are some of the things I think about each time I work on text for a sig. Truth be told, in the case of the Ocean sig every single version, text or no text, looked great because the picture was so well done begin with. If anything, that speaks volumes for itself.

Aww that's so cute. Kona is my favorite in Lucky Star I feel so much resemblance to her that it's sometimes creepy XD I like the colors and the composition, maybe Kona could have been a bit sharper but it's good the way it is too ;3 Keep it up |
