The chances are slim, but i'm not against it like other people seem to be. They would make a good couple in my opinion. Naruto and Hinata might make a better one, but we really don't see much of her in the manga.
Sakura's feelings for Naruto are purely that of a very close friend. She loves him, but as a friend. Her feelings for Sasuke however have always been romantic and of course, she cares for him as a friend. If this were real life, her feels for him would be seriously hampered by the whole running off thing, yet she still thinks highly of him in the manga. |

For SakuNaru I think and hope that won't ever happen. It seems to me Hinata and Naruto aren't meant to hook up at some point in the story. And just possibly Sakura and Lee will get together, yes this would be very weird, yet funny, but it just may happen. You never know, you know the creators like to surprise you in these stories. But all of this is just my opinion, I do believe though that HinaNaru will definitely happen.

In naruto shipppuden 45, there were 2 narusaku moments in that particular episode. First, is when naruto was telling to sakura while holding her hand to continue their pursuit with orochimaru even though she strongly suggest to stop for a while until he recovers.
Another was, when naruto smiled at sakura, she blushed while looking at him until naruto ruins the moment when she told her that she is their only female ninja with super strength. |

Naruto and Sakura have been growing closer throughout the series. It started out bad...then it turned into friendship and now Sakura even seems to have taken a liking to the boy. There have been several moments in part 2 where you can see that they like each other and that they're getting even closer. They just don't know it themselves yet. This development is often used in anime when bringing two people together. I'm not saying this is a solid reason, but I think that it is an argument still.
With the Naruto/Hinata relationship this is different. There has been no development since the chuunin exams whatsoever (and no...the fillers don't count..) Hinata still faints in part 2 when seeing him for the first time...and when in battle...she only focuses on Naruto and not on the battle. Spoiler for naruto/hinata:
Sakura on the other hand knows that she can trust Naruto and that he won't get himself killed so easily. NaruSaku has a bond of trust..this is a very important theme in the show. They believe in each other, like how they'll bring back Sasuke and in battle as well. We just have to wait for one thing..or person in this case....Sasuke... We know that Sakura used to love the raven haired boy, but we haven't got a clue how she feels about him now. Yeah we know that she still finds him important Spoiler for sakura:
Oh yeah and for the people who think that she went to Tsunade for training just to bring sasuke back. This is a mistake. She went to Tsunade to become stronger. So that she could help both Sasuke and Naruto. She didn't want to stand behind them anymore, but be equal to them in every way, so that she can help them herself and doesn't have to rely on other people anymore. I agree that Sasuke played a big part in making this desicion, but its not the sole reason. So we have to wait until we really know how sakura feels about sasuke. They might even do the same love triangle when everyone comes back, but then with Sakura who doesn't know to choose which one. But we'll have to see. Then we have the sannin element as well. One important element in the show is about surpassing the previous generations. Team 7 is practically the same as the sannin (orochimaru/Sasuke ; jiraiya/Naruto ; tsunade/Sakura) Spoiler for sannin:
Okay that was my little rant  I'm not saying that NaruSaku is canon already, I'm just pointing out that NaruSaku has a chance of happening. And NaruSaku has a bigger chance of happening than NaruHina at the moment. I might change my mind if I actually see some development between naruto and hinata, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Hinata is a suport character after all. She won't get very much screentime.I'm a NaruSaku fan myself and I hope that this pairing will become canon, but I hope that you people can see that I wasn't biased when making this post. I tried to make it, like someone who doesn't care about pairings would have made it.

The only thing I don't understand is why Hinata's lack of bonds or time with Naruto hurts any chance of a relationship. As long as Kishimoto keeps hinting at it, then there is just as good a chance of it happening as NaruSaku.
Look, if SasuSaku happens, it will occur without any real bonds formed between Sakura and Sasuke. They barely interacted during their time on Team 7 and have spent no time together in about 3 years. But this is a pairing Kishimoto could very well go for. Another example. Ino knows Shikamaru a lot better than Temari knows him. Ino is around Shikamaru a lot more than he is with Temari. Ino has probably bonded with Shikamaru more than he has with Temari. But ask anyone which will become canon, ShikaIno or ShikaTema? 99% will say ShikaTema. So bonds and time spent together doesn't necessarily mean a relationship will happen in Naruto. |

Yeah, I didn't say that lack of bonds is a reason for it not to happen. I just wanted to point out that I don't see a relationship forming between naruto and hinata, just because hinate confesses her love to him. That would seem like a pairing out of nowhere just to keep some fans content. And I don't like those kind of pairings.
I mean, Naruto doesn't even seem to like the girl. So I want to see at least some development before I see them coming together. You know, give Naruto some time to think about Hinata and such and let them get some screentime together to see their reactions. I'm not against the relationship between naruto and hinata (although I like narusaku much more  ) I just want to see a bit of development.

That and has anyone ever seen the "true" Sasuke, I mean the only side of him we see most of the time is the "I going to kill that bastard brother of mine!!!" side. Who know maybe he is actually complete hopeless when it comes to dealing with girls.  In that case, Hinata might be the ideal girl for him, given that she for most part comes across as harmless.

Ofcourse, that's a crack pairing, and thus only use it for example, not one i think would actually happen. Quote:

He really does like Sakura and part of him still aims for her... Because of this, if will be much harder for him to look at any other girls... The only way NaruXHina to happen is if comes to loves Hinata more than Sakura; but because of his Strong love bond to sakura and his loose friendship bond with hinata, this is very unlikely, almost impossible to happen... The only way he could possibly love Hinata more than he loves sakura is if he were to build a strong bond with her, a bond of which is currently non-existant Think of how you might feel in Naruto's position... You are close friends with the girl you deep down love... what are the chances that you would give up on that girl and go with a girl you barely even know? Granted, i should keep in mind that Manga goes with a very ideal romantic love in most of their relationships, as opposed to more shallow stuff you often see in the real world (such as taking whatever you can get, aiming for hotness, and so forth) |
