I have just marathoned 26 eps from June 3rd

, pretty cool series + nice OST, the mech is similar to the Zone of the Enders one, which is pretty nice; but I get bored after the 82362637232 reused animation on the delta-quadra lock :-/. I wish they would display more aerobatic / dog fight skill /evade beam, etc instead of the cookie cutter - MV sword - position lock - quadra lock :-/

The last few eps also gives me the Fafner vibe, mankind last hope final attack, everybody promises to come back in 1 piece, etc

I were cheering for Togo x Eika but oh well =(

for the OST, I like Fight of the Sorrow (sweet holy god violin and guitar :O ) and the piano solo "fall in love"

After watching so many specials in a row before returning to the series, now I sort of laugh every time Karen speaks. I never noticed before the specials, but she does have a unique way of speaking. Now hurry with the final episode Froth-Bite :P

By the way, for Special 7, do you think Dr. Yuko ate that fish and fed her son (and herself) the leftovers?

Sky Girls was one of my first anime shows this year and a greate opening =)
And till 12 days ago I didn't even knew that there was an OVA ... now the OP looks a bit different

Karen's way of speaking is great for her character. One minute she's speaking in a kind relaxing tone. The next moment she has the tone of something innocent yet sinister. Refer to special episode 4 and 5 if you don't know what I mean.

I wouldn't give Sky girls a 10 out of 10 because the series deserves at least a 6 out of 10 depending on how you look at it.

The sound... -Fish gathering around Tougou's vomit... -Otoha trying to catch those fish, and like Karen said, "fell into the ocean of vomit"... -Eika saving Otoha and failing to catch the lord... -Episode ends with Eika jumping in the air in a strange way. And, Elise calls Eika "Shishou" (Teacher/Master). The personality twisting in these specials never fail to be amusing. Main events: -20 seconds in, and we have Eika making strange sounds while riding an orca (who's a WORM)... -The doctor gets to appear... Playing the role of a person in poverty... She also tries fishing, and fails miserably.
